What mesh size is it?

small enough to hold coffee grounds!!

Could these be used as small brew bags for holding chunky fruit in primary wine or mead fermentation?

I’ve not tried that. I use them for making cold brew, they’re great for that. Not really small IHO

Is the bag compostable?

Thank you for asking about the cold brew bags 6x10 inches, yes the bag is degradable and compostable.

What size bag do I need if I need to put it inside a 12 cup stove top percolator?

Thank you for asking about the disposable coffee filter bags 8x12 inches (ASIN: B09B7499SS). These large coffee filter can hold a pound and a half coffee grind and is suit for 1 or 2 gallon (or bigger) jars and buckets, it's better for making a large coffee batch or commercial use. For 5.33 oz. per cup or 5.3 12 oz. mugs, 12 cups coffee is about 64 oz, we suggest you choose our 6x10 cold brew bags.
