Very easy to connect to my android smart phone. I can use this to find my phone too. I bought to put in my truck when left with mechanic for few days, feels good I now have way to track if needed. Most other tracking devises charged fees, not this. I am very happy I got these, a 4 pack with different colors, nice. Xtra info,, I put one in my truck and drove to and around town. Worked like I hoped. Travel history showed map and address of each ping. Since I only have one phone this helped. When I misplaced both phone and smart tag this week, I could use each to find the other. It's like playing "hot and cold game" when you look for tag which I liked. Smart things App works great. I've only had for month+ so don't know much about battery, only turned on one so far, figured I'd only connect as needed, may save batteries? I will probably buy another set. I'll put one in each vehicle and on m/c. I don't worry about it,, but if I had a Porch Pirate. I'd use this! To help police of course. :)

I use it to track my cars, just in case it gets… “lost”. The very last one was activated well over 2 years after purchase. And the battery is still good since it wasn’t activated. The first one is already 2 years old and the battery still good good. It’s not gps accurate but it gives good ballpark accuracy.

True story: I took my car for servicing. I didn't want to wait so the service department called for a Lyft to pick me up. I had a lot of items in my hands. When i got home and realized a left my wallet in their truck. I called a auto dealer to get the driver 's number. No one knew it and .y cellphone was attached to that wallet. Long story short: I used another phone to track the driver. I had a tag on my wallet. Using my spare car I tracked him all the way to his wife's JOB where he was picking her up and I got my wallet. He said he keep hearing the beeping noise. He was surprised that I was able to locate him. YES. I recommend this product. I have one my keys and cars.

I bought four of these and gave one to my wife and one for me.I have a Samsung galaxy s8 and I paired my tracker to my phone. When I went to use the find function I had to download another app so it would show on a map. I thought this was a little complicated and do not understand why everything wasn’t included in the app for the tracker.My wife has a Samsung s20 and pairing her tracker was a real problem. The phone showed it was connected but when I tried to see the location, It kept on giving a message that said server not available. I finally had to remove the tracker battery and reset the tracker at least twice before I could get it to show the location. Not sure why it was such a problem on the newer phone and a Samsung phone to boot.Once it is set, it seems to work reasonably well as far as location.

These work. My keys were taken at a mall during the holiday season. The day they went missing, I tracked them to a parking lot in the mall. My family searched and found nothing. A month after my keys went missing, I thought I'd check for updates on their where abouts. They showed up at that same mall but in a different area, so I quickly went to look for them. I was getting close but couldn't pinpoint them. I was ready to give up when my husband suggested playing the sound from them (can do that in the app.) I followed the sound to find them buried in a planter. The Smart Tag was in soil that was frozen sold. A maintenance guy chiseled them out and the Smart Tag still works to this day.It did what it was supposed to. So, I purchased more and put them on my work bag, luggage, keys, etc.

I bought the set and the attachments for the dog's collars. Forget it, unless they are in the same room, it does not work. Horrible misinformation. Supposedly it searches the nearby area for 5 minutes after which time it says "Device not found" despite the dog sitting on the front porch, not even 6 feet away from you. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THESE TAGS, they don't work. So disgusted with the misinformation. Too late to return. Just think if you were trying to track your lost purse or child with a tag in their backpack. Find something else.

I've been using these smart tags to track a lot of my stuff, like keys, dogs, cats, tools, and even my car.

Easy setup via smartthings app. I was really excited as we purshased these to tag a couple of pallets of personal items we are shipping from US to Europe.... and for our suitcases. Set them up at 4pm and woke up to find that all tags had been removed while we were sleeping. Had alerts on phone saying tags had been removed. No other detail given. We used these with our Galaxy Note 10+ phones. Waiting to receive our new S22 ultras and will try again. I did change the icon for each smart tag in the app and read there might be a glitch with icons that send an error message to Smartthings system which may trigger auto removal of tags. Will update once installed and tested on new phones.
