GreenLife 6QT Ceramic Nonstick Slow Cooker, Cooktop/Oven Safe, Pink

I read the reviews and I already had a different item in my cart but the star rating and reviews caused me to rethink . It came sooner and the unpacking was very smooth , I tested water in this crockpot to get acquainted and it was much easier than I expected . I normally stay far away from digital but this is a combination of manual with digital and works effortlessly! I’m impressed . The crock pot is mind blowing light weight ; when I think for the last 40 years of lugging a heavy bulky ceramic bowl and hot …. And the clean up afterwards . This crockpot after cooking meat in it was effortless . This is a game changer for me ! If I could give it a 10 I would , the only minor thing which for me is insignificant is not having a locking lid . I really have never noticed a difference in cooking it’s just I like a locking lid . But the weight and ease of cleaning and pretty colors available outweigh the one preference I could and can live without . I’d highly recommend this crockpot ; it’s a game changer and I’ll probably use it more because of that .

I LOVE this slow cooker! It's the best I've ever owned, out of the several I've used in my life. The exterior stays cool, the interior tub is lightweight but cleans beautifully (even from red sauces and bbq dishes!). You can sear in the interior tub before you start your slow cook. It has three heat settings: low, medium, and high, as well as a "keep warm" setting, which allows for good temp control. It also has a timer, which is convenient. The handles and control knobs are wood so they stay cool but they're also large so handling the tub is easy. And it's a pretty slow cooker! This is my first Green Life product and I'm very impressed. It's well made, highly functional, looks good, and very affordable. I will look for their products in the future.

I've been using a program called FREEZER FIT to prep my dinners for the week, and while I enjoy using my Ninja Foodi, I wanted something easier to clean that I could leave running all day while I was at work without worry (because I prefer to be HOME when I am cooking something in that device.) Shopped for a slow cooker, and they all had mixed reviews... thought black friday savings would guide me to something like a crock pot, but for just a little more, I got a highly reviewed item - the GREENLIFE slow cooker. I’ve been using the GreenLife 6QT Slow Cooker for a couple of weeks, and it’s quickly become a kitchen favorite. No mushy, overcooked food! - Removable interior bowl: Extremely lightweight (can pick up with one hand) and dishwasher-safe, which makes post-dinner cleanup painless. - COLORS - Modern design: Sleek look that doesn’t scream “appliance”—it actually looks nice sitting on the counter. Pros - Healthy cooking surface: No PFAS, PFOA, lead, or cadmium. - Easy cleanup: Truly nonstick, even with sticky sauces. - Large capacity: Great for families or entertaining. - Programmable convenience: Reliable timer and settings. Cons - Exterior gets warm: Not dangerously hot, but noticeable. - I hand wash the removable interior, but I read in some reviews and in the manual that if you put it in the dishwasher, there may be a slight discoloration of the inner pot. So read before you throw it in the dishwasher, and use silicone or wood utensils to keep the ceramic nonstick liner fresh and scratch free - Lid fit is snug but not airtight: Works fine, but expect a little steam escape. Bottom Line If you want a slow cooker that’s healthier, easy to clean, and big enough for hearty meals, this one delivers. It’s not overloaded with fancy features, but the essentials are done really well. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, family-sized slow cooker with a modern, non-toxic twist.

I am very happy I purchased this slow cooker. I replaced my slow cooker that had a heavy, stoneware insert. This cooker is very lightweight and clean up is super easy-no soaking the insert needed. The temperature is consistent and cooks evenly. I would definitely purchase this slow cooker again.

Okay. There’s A LOT to so say about this slow cooker, especially in relation to a lot of problems mentioned in the comments. First, is the product description wrong/misleading? Short answer. YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! : -This is 100% NOT ceramic in ANY way. -It is an aluminum pot lined with I have no idea what type of non-stick coating (they say is PFOA AND PFOS free, but I highly doubt it), and even has a ton of multicolor glitter in the coating! -BUT because of this It is feather light! Lighter than normal cooking pots! -And I actually feel like I could safely brown and prep meat in it on the stove. Ceramics I always worry will crack or break. -Just make sure to NEVER use metal utensils on it, or it will scrape off the nonstick coating! Now as for the bad taste after cooking complaints: -I washed it out with soap (gentle soap only per the directions!!!) and water. -To off-gas this slow cooker (yes I have chemical sensitivities) I filled the pot with water and cooked it twice for 4 hours each time on the hottest setting (medium, which I explain below) before ever using actual food in it. It did leave a very faint gasoline-like residue in the water the first two times. -Because this is a plastic base, of course there is gonna be off-gassing from the heat and the new plastic. Yes it smells yucky. -Yes it probably has PFOA and PFOS.. -So make sure you off-gas it to take off any chemicals, etc that might contaminate your food. (And it’s also a great way to test all the settings to make sure it works properly. More in this below). Now for the common complaint of the water never getting hot or cooking the food: -This sow cooker has weird settings compared to all other slow cookers, but they look like normal settings, so you MUST READ THE DIRECTIONS.. -Most people I think are hitting the delay button and using it as the cook button. The delay button literally just delays the time before it starts cooking. - There is no cook button. You turn the knob to set the cook time, and you must do this FIRST. Otherwise it won’t work properly AKA cook. -When I was off-gassing the slow cooker with water, I tested all the settings and I found a second issue. There is low medium and high cooking modes. Here I think I have discovered that the slow cooker has a program error. The LOW mode is actually medium(normal low mode)/high, the MEDIUM mode is actually high mode, and the HIGH mode is actually low/warm. So I think this is another reason people’s food was not coming out right, since most meals use the HIGH setting.. Slow cooker outside hotness: -The outside does not get nearly as hot as other slow cookers I have had. -People saying this in the comments either have a defective one, or they are replacing a unit from the 70s-90s and don’t know they all are hot on the outside now. I learned this the hard way myself. -the handles are plastic and also never get hot, even after hours on the highest setting (medium). -the lid fits very well. My conclusion: -While I think this may be a scam company (from all the promises about this slow cooker being green that are obviously flat out lies), I actually really really like it for the super cheap price of $40! -The glitter coating is pretty, I LOVE how lightweight it is for cooking and washing, the pot seems more versatile than classic ceramic ones, the color is cute, and the plastic smell is not nearly as bad as a lot of new cooking appliances if you just take the time to off-gas it by cooking water in high the first few times. -all in all I’m annoyed about the scam wording and false promises, but I actually like the slow cooker so much I will be keeping it. They honestly should just promote the thing as it is. I know a ton of people would buy it for the same price just cuz of the glitter in the coating looking cool, and the pink outside color. 4 stars because it works and I love it, but they sold it on false pretenses. Like others, I love this slow cooker. You cannot go wrong with a toxin free slow cooker. It is also very lightweight and cooks the food perfectly. I am being careful to use only rubber utensils or bamboo, or wood so I can keep the interior in tack, not scratches etc. It has auto shut off, switching to warm to keep food hot. Definitely a good buy.

Love this slow cooker. Especially like that you can take the insert out, place it on your top burner, and sauté./brown your meat without having to mess up a separate container. The controls are very easy to understand. Because the inside is ceramic, cleanup is a breeze.

I’m not sure if this is actually a ceramic insert but seems more aluminum, which is actually what I was looking for so I’m happy about that. I like the way it cooks. It cleans nicely and it fits on my counter nicely. I wish it had a locking lid because I take things quite often. My only real “con” is that it will not fit a 3 pound roast. I’m not sure if it’s actually a 6 quart size. It looks more like it would be 5 quarts. It’s bigger than the 4 quart that I have. I have one that is 6 quart that needed to be replaced and it looks much bigger. I was even able to fit a 6 pound brisket in it. My roast was 2.9 pounds and there was no room left. I will update if anything changes about the quality.

I had a lot of crockpot in my life and I’ve waited to use this one before doing my review. It’s the best!!! Cleaning it and using it everything is perfect I highly recommend it and might buy the bigger one for family reunion.
