This tool works great on standard ring material.
Was not expecting such a great tool, description was accurate, and quality is good for the price, came with extra wheel. Had to grind my rings just a bit. Only would recommend mounting the unit on to a worktable, it was a little difficult to hold the tool down and compress the ring to the wheel and keep it flat. but the tool did what it is supposed to do. I did not feel any burs though a light file will take care of any burs. Need to go slow because it will remove material for just standard rings. Great price for the tool.

Not the straightest wheel or grindstone but it got the job done
It's very much you get what you pay for, pretty low quality, doesn't spin strait, but hey it gapped the rings well. I wouldn't recommend this if you need precision, but for someone doing it in their garage yeah, especially if it's most likely going to be a one or two time use item. For you.

She works. Do a little mod and shes even better
Ok. So I wanted to file some rings in my engine and saw this, got it and made a small modification, and with a drill it files fast, take your time and go slow with a drill or your going to have some big gaps, I went .030 on my rings. I wanted .028. Opps. No big deal
