Shower Shield 9" x 9" SS99 PICC Line Cover Moisture Barrier

Labrum & bicep anchor tear surgery. Was not allowed to get area wet for 2 weeks. This works perfectly. It sticks very well and kept incision area dry & covered to shower. Highly recommend for post surgery. I had 3 incisions in my should area and 1 covered all 3. 1 corner you have to fold and tape. Place the top sticking part on first, then one of the side, then the other side. The lower side will need to be folded to cover entire shoulder, but works.

Good product, needed smaller size but made it work. Make sure applied area is dry and it seals great.

Does not stick to skin, my dialysis port got wet and that stress alone makes me feel better off using plastic wrap and waterproof tape. It's probably much better for men with chest catheters or surgical incisions. If you are female and have breasts to consider, this shield just doesn't work out well. I added waterproof tape for extra security and didn't allow direct contact wit water, but the steam from the shower loosened the shield and the dressing was falling off by the time I emerged. Someone needs to invent a better product ASAP-it's well worth any price to have peace of mind. I did go to the tutorials online and product didn't work for me the way they portrayed it but I followed instructions faithfully.

Purchased this to keep an incision after microdiscectomy surgery and was instructed that the dressing must stay dry. (dressing over incision is 4"x6"). I followed the directions to a T. This piece of junk product did not stick to skin the second water hit it and and the dressing was drenched as if I had used nothing. I had read other reviews saying it was horrible and that it did not stay dry but they were for ports and lines so thought it may be ok since mine is for wound; not piece of equipment. WRONG. They need to take this off the market. Worst product EVER.

Always pops open and allows water in while taking a shower (and I have shaved the area and have pressed and pressed it all around the edges. Removal hurts quite a bit, too, so it seems counterintuitive that it’s tough to remove but does not seal well.
