The Teacher's Introduction to Pathological Demand Avoidance

I wish in the downward spiral to permanent exclusion at 7 years old I had been able to hand this book to my child's teachers. It wasn't that they were uncaring they just lacked the insight and skills that this book could have given them.

I'm not a teacher but a parent and I thought this was a good read. I recommend it whether you're a parent, teacher or professional

Essential reading for anyone working in education, very helpful, informative , a brilliant book to have .

I would definitely recommend this book. It is relevant for challenging behaviour without PDA as well. Practical strategies in addition to explanations about current profiles of PDA.

I am a parent of a child with PDA/ASD and this book is amazing. Easy to read and follow but full of helpful features for every day teaching and dealing with issues that come up.
