Great for beginners!!!!! I received mine today and have never used a detector before, read directions (skimmed). Watched a YouTube video and went in backyard to try. Wife found 2 pieces of aluminum while I was still setting up the pin pointer. Found 10 penny’s buried about 6-8 inches, a big metal hook, an old bottle cap and a nail that was buried ~9 inches in first half hour. This thing is awesome. A lot of fun. Can’t wait to really dig into settings and learn to use it properly.

I have really liked this product. My only beef with it is that sometimes it doesnt turn on unless you spin the batteries. I think its a product issue with battery connectivity. When I received mine, the bottom plate of the coil was cracked. Don't notice a difference as I have used it anyhow. Great for the money and as I am a begginer and do this as a hobbie.

I purchased this and it is everything it advertises. It is very accurate and easy to use. Very lightweight. I even had to email the company a question and they were very prompt and helpful and even sent me a few parts to have on hand at no charge. I totally recommend this metal detector! Eddie

The very first thing we found with this was a gold coin right outside of our own house. The coin dated back to the early 1800s. Once we took it to the beach after about three hours of continuous use my son was able to determine what type of coin was going to come out of the sand. He is only 12 years old and he is absolutely hooked on the hobby now.

I bought this as a backup for my ACE 350 and for my grandson to also use. I like the number readout and the discrimination. I have found more coins and several tokens with this detector. I am still getting use to the numebers and sounds. The coil protector is annoying because it collects a lot of debris on the top and inside which requires cleaning out while huntingI have dug a lot of pull tabs but then they are treasure to a friend. She saves them for her grandchildren's school. All and all This was a very good buy. Garrett does make quality detectors at a decent price for all types of hunters.

Bought this detector to be able to have better discrimination. So far, works great.
