The kite is very cheaply made, certainly not worth what I paid but the extending pole is good

Had loads of problem birds in our property. Seagulls, rooks,magies,crows. Was very sceptical when i read about this product. But thaught what the hell . The item came through the post spent abit of time instructions. Which is important because needs to be set up correctly. The product is awesome havent had a single bird on my property for a week.make sure you take down in high winds. Please ignore any negative reviews obviously they didnt set up correctly. If you have a nuisance bird problem get one. You will only need a 4m pole for residential houses.make sure it is 1 1/2 off the ground as per instructions. Its the best £30 you will spend

I have a problem where pigeons sit on the edge of next door’s roof and use our wheelie bins for target practice. Plastering them. To be fair I didn’t mount this the recommended way because of where I need it. I kept the bird close to the pole and cable tied the pole to our drainpipe. The bird kept the pigeons away immediately and stopped the mess on our bins but the wind destroyed the structure of the bird within a few weeks requiring frequent repairs. The weak points are where the small support poles fit into the bird, they end up poking through, and after several months those poles have splintered and snapped. I’m now on my second one.

I felt this was a bit expensive for what it is but some of the price is for the telescopic pole. But so far it’s doing the job intended. Scaring away the birds. Is it durable? Time will tell. Overall, quite pleased.

The kite was easy to assemble but was very flimsy. I used it in a back garden and it lasted two days before I had to take it down and re-assemble it using Gorilla tape to make it stable again. It lasted another two days before I had to take it down again. This time I won't be repairing it.

The scarer has had a lot to contend with especially with the wind. Partially achieving goal of scaring ever present rooks, crows, jackdaws, magpies.

Bird is a bit heavy, the poke needs to go quite deep to keep supported

Very disappointed with this product. Continually wraps itself around the pole. Tried lengthening and shortening the cord but makes no difference. Pole is set at correct angle. Even purchased fishing swivels to try and cure problem to no avail. Can’t recommend so don’t waste your money. Now further down the line and 4th extension that kite fixes to no longer holds tightly into extension below so no longer has the whip

Fliegt wieder nach einem Jahr

Der Drachen hat meinen gesamten Garten gut beschützt, auch der Nachbar meinte, dass er noch nie so viele Kirschen abbekommen hat wie dieses Jahr. Die mehrfach zu lesenden Beiträge, dass der Stab zusammen rutsch kann ich nicht nachvollziehen, bei Teleskopangeln ist ja dasselbe Prinzip, dort klappt es ja auch. Die 4m sind natürlich zu kurz, ich habe den Stab an einer 4m langen Dachlatte fixiert (3 Kabelbinder) Damit fliegt er schön sichtbar über den Bäumen.

Me animó mi mujer a montarlo y colocarlo en el jardín cerca de un pino donde se alojaban palomos y tórtolas que dejaban el suelo lleno de excrementos. Desde que lo coloqué no viene ni uno. Tengo que reconocer que ha resultado efectivo
