Door Hinge Tolerances Could Be Tighter (One Door Can Sit On Top Of The Other)
I wish the tolerance for the receptacle door hinges were tighter or that the springs were stronger to ensure it closes more deliberately. I have noticed that if I am not careful to make sure the door is completely closed, it could become slightly off-center and sometimes sit on top of the other door cover, allowing outside weather conditions to infiltrate the weatherproofed area. It's not an issue for my needs because it is used to stop me from accidentally hitting certain light switches indoors; however, outside, it might create a risk of electric shock.Note: These covers should not be used in "wet" locations (areas where they come into direct contact with rain); only in "damp" locations (areas where they are protected from weather). See the NEC (National Electric Code) for details on the type of outlet or switch covers allowed for which environment. You may need to use something different than these switches depending on the environment, like a bubble cover.
