How far apart is the color change? Is it more than one inch?

Some changes are more subtle than others so it looks like several (4 to 5 inches ) before you see a difference. On the more obvious changes in color I measure about 2 to 3 inches between colors.

HI, can I use this for babylock embroidery machine? what's the weight of the thread?

40 weight. I use with both my Brother VE-2200 (Dream Machine) & my PR-600II (6 needle). Although I wasn't happy with variegated colors once stitch.

Do all of these sew in a block pattern??
