Q: Does this accept the same size hose as the normal 5/8-18 flare connection on a welder?

Yes, I removed the barbed fitting and the standard flare connection went right in. I've been very happy with the performance. I don't weld often, but it seems like I waste less gas compared to the original pressure regulator system I was using.

Q: Is the outlet psi adjustable?

The no-flow output pressure is about 50PSI and is not adjustable. The flow is adjustable with the output needle valve. It is assumed that in use the output pressure will be much less than 50PSI.

Q: What size is the barb?

I believe it's for a 1/4" hose.

Q: Does this fit inert has fittings for argon? Not sure of the size maybe 5/8

It fit a standard welding tank, in my case it's a Co2/Argon mix for my Mig welding.

Not bad for the price, perfect for home shop import machines

Appears well enough made all threads fit and seal good, works well, checked flow against a known gauge. Only negative I have is the markings on the tower tube for flow rate are faint, bit hard to see. Otherwise all good, longevity is to be seen yet.
