Super cute, I had to return because the arm holes are a little smaller than I like and the structure makes it noticeable and not stretchy (not too small if you have thin arms or are petite, but I am 5’8” and I think that accounts for a lot of the slight undersizing). I was going to keep it still, but being cotton, it risks getting smaller after washing. The waist I would say is on the dot, I was at the highest end of small and the hemline is thick and structured there as well, if I was half an inch bigger around my smallest waistline where it sat it would have been uncomfortable or unflattering. I also felt, though structured well and not having broad shoulders, i didn’t get the effect of the shoulder structure because they were stopped a tiny bit more narrow than I’d have liked. Again, I’m assuming someone shorter or just with a very thin frame/small torso wouldn’t have these issues, except the waist.As a result, I think if you are taller or have arms that aren’t very thin, or if you are close to the upper end of the waist size on the size chart, just go up a size.The quality was actually excellent and I plan to buy it again in the future in a different size, but part of it’s high quality is the fabric not being thin, and it’s very hot and humid where I live so I actually wouldn’t wear it until November at the soonest. It felt very well made and a good, solid piece of cotton fabric, structured but still smooth, maybe it would become softer after a wash but I wouldn’t call it particularly soft out of the box. The cotton is thicker than most cotton tops I order at this price point, maybe a tighter weave as well? It just is well structured to look exactly like the photo.And the cut is going to have it hit your waist perfectly regardless of height (if you are taller than maybe 5’10, it may be too short and worth checking if larger sizes are longer). The waist is not stretchy but it hits the part that is the smallest and kind of sits in the structure of that curve (even on me who barely has one), so it won’t ride up or droop down.It is really flattering as someone who has a very straight, not curvy body. So I definitely recommend it if you want a waist and don’t have one. I can only imagine it on someone with curves. I liked that it created that effect while still looking casual, makes it seem like I just have that figure.The quality was actually excellent, the packaging surprisingly cute with a cute little tissue paper wrapping, like a small business would do, instead of a shrink wrapped normal Amazon purchase. I can’t see as I’m typing this, but if it comes in white it is high enough quality that I think I will order it in white because i think the quality of the fabric will not make the white see through. (within reason- I would still wear a skin toned bra under, but I wouldn’t worry about flash photography or seeing details of not wearing a bra. I tried it on without a bra and the structure makes it completely undetectable, even being a 34D-DD)It does say to wash cold or hand wash, probably to keep the structure and prevent shrinking. If you don’t know, 100% cotton will shrink if it is heated, do not put this in the drier. I do this anyways because it keeps clothes looking good for years, but often cheap items still end up pilling. But the quality of this is comparable to tops I have that are $70, I have a feeling it will look brand new even after 50 wears if you just gentle wash cold and air dry it. The black is true black, not faded at all, and I can’t speak to it staying that way or color retention as I returned it.Definitely saving this to order in the fall though. It would be cute with jeans (your belly button will show if you don’t wear high waisted) and boots and a plaid shirt around the waist, short overalls, or some “going out” shorts with patterned stalkings and heeled boots and a leather jacket. It will also be cute at the gym, comfy enough for lounging but wanting to look like a cuter lounger than I actually am (my normal lounging is not changing out of what I slept in, which is basketball shorts and oversized old t-shirts that look too bad to wear in public, lol.)So definitely recommend, especially for other non-waisted people like myself, just with the caveats about sizing up if you are taller without a petite upper body or near the upper threshold of a size on the size chart.

Cute; I like the way the seem is snug around the edge. However the material is rough and the sewn portion near each breast does not fall right in me. Sizing was true to size.

I really like this top. Just arrived and haven’t worn it to the gym yet but the material is soft, airy, great color, lightweight and not see thru. It comes up high and has a great fit at the waist. The armhole cuts are awkward. I am medium busted and have thin arms and it hangs forward below the arms? I’ll have to pin each side for this to work. I think it’s worth trying out for the price and everything else that is going for it. Everyone’s shape is different so it may work better for others. I imagine it would be a 5 for me, depending on performance at gym, if the cut was a little different.

Love the shirt and will order more, but just an FYI the wine color looks very red in the pictures and even in one of the reviews it looked like it was red. I received mine yesterday and it’s more of a dark pink Burgundy than red. I guess it really is wine color. I wanted red but I’m keeping it Super cute on. Looks really good with high waisted pants. I’m 5’2 weigh about 123 fits great. Not too short, not too long. Even as I’m trying to take a picture it looks more red in the picture. I put something red in the picture so maybe you can kind of see the difference.
