Q: I have a slim 9ft tree, is the bag to wide if used as a skirt? I am afraid it would be overpowering as a skirt in a narrow spot.

I use it as a tree skirt, my tree is 7 1/2 tall and about 4 to 5 feet at the bottom. It is a bit bulky, but It didn't bother me. I loved using it. Putting the tree up and taking it down was a breeze. Without knowing how wide your tree is at the bottom it's hard to say.

Q: So this replaces your regular treestand and stays under the tree when it's up? What does that look like under the tree skirt? It looks bulky.

It's supposed to look unobtrusive at the base the tree but we couldn't find any instructions that were complete enough to demonstrate how to get it to look that way after it was opened up for assembly. The only on-line answer we got was to call the manufacturer with problems. The bag is currently a messy pile at the base of the tree covered by the tree skirt!

Because the lower-priced ones are junk. This one is huh quality w strong rolling wheels. The tree stays in the stand and the canvas bag just drops to the floor when in place. When finished, you pull it back up & roll to storage. I first bought a cheaper one and sent it back because it was so flimsy. I highly recommend this brand which is also moisture proof and will last forever. I love it.
