Is the material super soft? Or more flat/smooth but not plush/fuzzy? Does that make sense?

Not fuzzy or plush. Soft and smooth.

Yes, there is a zipper so it’s easy to put a pillow or filling in. The material and pattern is so nice. I love them

Are these easy to put on and do the6 have a zipper?

They are easy to put on- assuming you have the right size pillow- and they do have a zipper. Two of mine were finicky to zip up but after a while I managed to get them.

The checkered is print or Jacquard?

Hello, the checkered of fabric are not print, they are made from thicker yarn and thinner yarn thread woven.
