Roman’s E-Z Hang Peel & Stick Wallpaper Helper, Clear, Non-Staining, 32-OZ

Hanging peel and stick wallpaper is so much harder than hanging regular wallpaper, but this spray is a definite game changer for peel and stick application. I found that it allows just enough wiggle room so you can match up the seam and align the pattern. I still curse a lot when hanging peel and stick, but this definitely helps take the edge off. I would never hang peel and stick paper without this spray.

I have used peel and stick contact paper (often called wallpaper now) many, many times and always ended up frustrated if the pieces were of any length. No matter how hard I tried, longer pieces always ended up going off-track/sideways/crooked. I could never get them perfectly straight. It got to the point that, although I LOVE contact paper because it offers an inexpensive way to make a big change, I gave up using it. I discovered this product quite by accident, while reading reviews here on Amazon, one of which mentioned this product. I was looking for wallpaper for an accent wall in my newly remodeled kitchen, found exactly what I wanted, but it was the peel and stick contact paper so I hadn't order it. Once I read about this product, I ordered it AND the contact paper I liked and VIOLA, no more problems with wrong placement or off-kilter alignment. **This stuff allows you to reposition the paper and get it perfectly placed without compromising how well the paper will adhere long term (which does happen if peel and stick paper is pulled off and repositioned too many times without use of this product). **It does require a generous application (sprayed onto the wall) to make sure it doesn't start to dry before you get the paper in place. **It's messy and drippy; I used cardboard pieces laid on the floor up against the wall to keep the floor clean. **BE SURE TO WIPE ANY EXCESS PRODUCT that squeezes through the seams onto neighboring pieces or drips on the floor or on trim, etc, while the product is still wet. This stuff dries as a glue, so clean up any excess immediately with wet rag and CLEAN water. If working on a large area, change water as necessary. I kept an ice cream pail of water and a rag next to me throughout installation. **I tried brushing the product onto the wall instead of spraying it on to be less messy, but that didn't work, couldn't seem to get it on thick enough. so went back to spraying the wall, as directed, and using a small plastic paint scraper to spread the product evenly over the area of the piece being applied. **Do NOT spray ahead of the piece of contact/wallpaper you are applying! You have a limited time to get the paper on before the product starts to dry, but plenty of time to position and reposition the paper exactly as needed. If it starts to dry out, respray the area. (When I was working by a heat vent, I turned the furnace down so it wouldn't kick in because the blowing warm air was drying out the product too quickly.) **The product also makes getting air bubble out very easy. I only had one piece that had an air bubble after the paper was applied, and it was very easy to get it out. **I ended up with a perfect installation, thanks COMPLETELY to the use of this product.

This product is SO HELPFUL for installing peel and stick wallpaper. I’ve installed a lot of peel and stick without it, which is possible but really aggravating and ends up with me wasting some wallpaper. This product makes the wallpaper repositionable, so if you stick it and need to make adjustments, you actually can without any ripping or rippling of the paper. It is pretty sticky and feels like glue if you get it on your hands, but it washes off easily. You get a lot in the bottle, so it has lasted me multiple projects. It’s a great value and has great functionality. I will never install peel and stick again without this. I highly recommend this.

This is not only useful for putting contact paper up on walls but also for putting it on furniture. At first I was not sure but after going back and forth a couple times of trying without, this definitely makes a BIG difference on fixing your mistakes, much easier to lift and reposition the paper. And it truly doesn't show up on your paper even if you smear it on top. I would buy this again anytime I am doing a project with peel-and-stick papers. Lost a star because the sprayer is not great, it just comes out in globs, and it stops spraying anymore once it's bent over too much, which again, since I was doing furniture and not a vertical wall, was a bit annoying. I just sprayed some and then rubbed it around evenly with a glove on. It seems best to try to keep it fairly thin and not go too wild or it may make air bubbles worse.

Tried peel and stick wallpaper for the first time before I bought this, and failed miserably. Without the ability to slide, adjust and reposition, I ended up having to tear off all the panels. For my second attempt, I bought E-Z Hang and it made wallpapering 90% easier. It allowed me to shift the pieces to match patterns without having to peel everything off and starting over. Once I was finished, the panels feel very secure to the wall and I couldn't be happier.

This was the 1st time using peel and stick wallpaper. Knowing contact paper can be a headache, I ordered this to help. I can’t say enough good about it. Remarkable product, made hanging and positioning, much easier. If I have one beef- it’s the ‘60sf per bottle” advertised. By that calculation, I bought 4, and only used 1 bottle for all. I sprayed all the time. Now I have 3 brand new bottles Definitely a great items. You want to make sure you squueze all the liquid out. I had a vinyl wallpaper, and thicker , when using wallpaper brush with squeegee end, any small gap was sealed when the liquid was fully removed. Definitely check paper at various angles for bubbles. Product is excellent

Did not work for me. Don’t know if this is a difficult area (in a corner) or it’s product failure but no help whatsoever. Sprayed it on a paper plate to test and it never felt tacky.

Peel and stick is not my preferred mural, I don't trust that it's not going to peel off eventually, plus there is no adjusting without losing some adherence. I saw this on a YouTube video since the peel and stick mural I bought had pathetic instructions and no support. This mural was huge at 9' high and 14' wide so it was already a challenge. I read the instruction on the E-Z Hang bottle and I must say that I don't agree with the coverage. It says it cover 60 sq ft, but I ended up not using a 2nd bottle and hung 120 sq ft with 1 bottle. I can't imagine putting twice as much of this spray on, it would be soaking and glue would be everywhere. What else I discovered on the 1st piece is that the top would not stay up. Even with only using half of the required spray, I could not keep it from sliding down, I ended up having to use painters tape to keep it up, which ended up taking a piece of paint with it when removing it. So, on every piece following, I ended up not spraying the wall for the top 6 inches and just relied on the peel and stick mural. That worked much better, and I didn't adhere the top until the rest was lined up with the overlap and pattern. I did not spray the bottom 6" either since you're pushing all of the glue towards the bottom anyways, too much spay was not letting it stay flat. The edges did not do well, so I'm not sure if the E-Z hang or the mural is to blame for this, but it all has to do with the overlap and cutting and peeling off the excess, it doesn't adhere well after all of that. It was all a difficult hang and I do have experience at doing this. I would probably rate this product as a 3.5 star

I love to upcycle various things with a bit of contact paper and this makes it far easier to align things when I need to. I know most contact papers claim they are removeable but often times they will end up ripping or stretching, which destroys the pattern. This makes it very easy to reposition them and adds a bit more "stick" as well... no peeling on any of my projects this far!

This stuff is honestly AMAZING. I wallpapered the top half of the walls in a bedroom and this spray made the process much easier and quicker. It really allowed the paper to slide around the walls and just glide into place where I needed it. A little goes a long way, it took probably 1/4 of the bottle to do half the walls. I would honestly recommend it for any peel and stick work. The only thing I will note is that it was horrible on my fingernails, so if you have nice nails keep that in mind.
