Is this good to use as a daily body wash?

I use it daily, seems to smell about the same as the bar soap variety. Big difference: bar soap leaves your skin feeling clean and dry. In a good way! That's to say, "not oily". The liquid variety leaves your skin feeling moisturized in a way the bar doesn't. I prefer the bar, personally, but I can see why others would prefer their skin feeling more hydrated. I've got oily skin, so dry is great for me.

Which is better for beards? The pine tar shower gel or the pine tar shampoo?

I've only used the shower gel and it works great as a shampoo also.

Anyone use this as a hand soap?

I bought this to use as a hand soap. I currently use the bar soap in my shower and wanted to use the liquid on my sink. It's a tad thick for my soap dispenser so I just add a bit of water to it. I have a spot of psoriasis on my wrist and the perfumed, fancy soaps tend to aggravate it.
