Worked like a charm; UPDATE: failed after six years
Summer 2019: The fluorescent light above my wife's sink was extremely dim for awhile and I didn't understand why. I had changed the tube light in it to no avail. The light worked in the fixture above my sink so I knew it had to be the fixture itself. I had vaguely recalled some electricians talking about a ballast in some fixtures at work once. So I took the fixture down and found the only part that could possibly have gone bad. I ordered this ballast and had it replaced within about 10 minutes. It took me longer to get the fixture back up on the wall than it did to replace the ballast. Everything's working well now. Fall 2025: Unit failed. Replacing with another.

Perfect Fit
I needed a ballast for a 1 bulb T-5 fixture. No luck finding one locally BUT Amazon had it with 1-day delivery!!! Perfect fit, and I am back in business. Thank you

Easy to install
This was very easy to install. The ballast slipped into the fitting and matched the screw point. You have to cut the wires from the old ballast so you will need a wire cutter/stripper and some connectors. This took about 15 minutes to install and was my first time. I am not a professional, so I think anyone can replace their ballast. If you have replaced a light fixture, you can do this.
