This is an excellent product. With the thicker consistency you don’t need as much. A small amount goes a long way. Since using this product I have had zero issues with dandruff and dried skin. Plus the scent is great, the wife loves it and that’s a plus. I highly recommend his to anyone wanting a nice, soft, dandruff free beard that smells great.

Oh ya, this is the shampoo for me. Tried standard shampoos and conditioner's and none made my beard feel this clean or soft. The fragrance is wonderful as well, not over powering but a subtle and clean smell. I have a large beard and some people maybe off put buy it but at least if I have to work in close proximity to them I have that clean smell that say's I have pride in who I am. So let the hairs grow and the shampoo flow for I'm going for a record beard that I will ware with pride. Thanks Spartan it looks like you have a new long beard customer.

It's really hard to say how effective this product is because I've been more consistent with my beard oil at the same time, so... my beard is softer but I'm not really sure how much or how little the shampoo plays a part. My beard feels and looks clean so I guess that's all that matters. Once this runs out, I'll probably use the Mrs shampoo along with the beard oil to see if this product did make a difference. Great product. Certainly keeps my beard smelling fresh and clean and prevents any itching. Would definitely recommend and buy again. Great price/value - does exactly what it says it does! Great job Spartans Den!

Purchased this scent after trying and really enjoying Spartan Den's Classic scent. First, both do what they advertise - beard dandruff has been virtually eliminated. So, from a perspective of being "as advertised," I'd give it 4-5 stars. Giving it three stars for customer service. I reached out to company to inform them of my disappointment with the scent, hoping they'd allow me to swap it for the Classic scent. Instead, I received an e-mail saying, "Sorry...we're developing new scents and maybe you should try them in the future.." For $15/bottle I was hoping for a bit more on the customer service side of things, and will be looking at alternatives in the future.

I am a big fan of Spartan products! I think I wrote in another review on one of the other products that I am not a fan of trying a million different beard oils, balms, and shampoos, so I am glad that I got it right the first time. Other than making my own beard oils, this is the first time that I officially tried a store bought/Amazon brand. The product was packaged nicely in ziploc type bags with no leaks or defects. I tried it the same night I received it. A couple of pumps on the scruffles in the shower and it lathered up quite nicely and gets down to the root of my manly face hairs! This product fooled me because it almost felt like a soap that was drying my beard out, but when I rinsed it all away and finished my shower, my beard was softer than feathers! I also have the Spartan brand of beard oil and balm in which I use both at the same time immediately after washing and drying and this stuff works wonders! For the price point and the amount you get compared to some other pricier brands this does not disappoint! Try it out!

I recently retired from public service...always wanted a beard but my employment wouldn't allow it. I started using your products (the classic beard shampoo, balm and oil) a year or so ago and swear by it. I live in South Florida where the sun can be brutal this time of year. No itch, no flaking skin and best of all, silky smooth hair. Even better my wife, not a beard fan to begin with, absolutely loves the fragrance and feel of my beard. Thank you Spartans!

Not a fan. This is the first dedicated beard shampoo I have tried and I do not care for it. Lathers well but leaves an odd sticky feeling to my beard. Smells great but just doesn't leave my beard feeling clean. I have also tried Maestor's Beard wash and it works exponentially better...
