These filters are affordable and fit perfectly in my cupcake fountain. I opened one once and found there is a little bag of charcoal inside. I change the filter every 2 weeks.

Ceramic bowl is a super idea. The "fountain" spray is minimal, so it's a bit disappointing as my cats enjoyed the splashes and longer streams of water from a previous design. But I'm r lived that it has less plastic potentially leaching into the water.

So I'm always cleaning my cat's water so it's fresh and this has always been a wonderful filter set that I've purchased before. It is easy to put in and my cat just gulps the water like there's no tomorrow because I give her purified water and this filter makes it taste better I guess

Super easy to remove the old filter (including the foam portion) and replace with new ones. You can also see how well the filter system removes dirt etc when replacing the old ones. Will continue to buy!
