Costume Agent Pirate Costume Boots, Medieval Renaissance Boots for Adult

I'm a US Size 13 Wide. Been trying to find reasonably priced boots that fit these skis I call feet. Took the advice of another reviewer and ordered a size up. The 14-15 size fit my feet perfectly. Not a lot of breathing room on the sides, but plenty of room for my Tarzan-Toes. Overall a comfortable fit that looks fantastic! Boots zip up and fit around my tree trunk calves without issue. You won't be hiking Everest in these things, but you could conceivably be on your feet all day without dying. At first blush I can say that highly recommend. I'll edit this later if they prove problematic.

I was not expecting these to be of the quality they were when I ordered them. These are really nice for costume boots! I wore these for 4 consecutive days at our VBS for about 6 hours each day and most of that time on my feet! They were great! I wear a size 10 1/2 or 11 shoe and the medium boot was just the tiniest bit small with a pair of work socks on. With a pair of thinner socks, they fit just fine. There was no sign of wear in the material after the 4 days of wear either. I expected cracking or checking in the "leather" but they did not. Keeping these for future pirate adventures. Ahoy!

Excellent value overall! Short of acquiring an actual period boot or commissioning one to be made for, presumably, a considerable sum, this is an excellent choice for an authentic look that is well made and affordable. Pros: *The look and finish is great! Love the textured/embossed design, the buckles, turned down upper. The color is not a true black but an incredibly deep black. * Durability: They held up beautifully, better than expected, with zero issues for a full day on the streets of Oakland. Absolutely no visible wear and tear. I believe they will last for years of costume events. *Sole: The soft rubber sole provides solid, non-slip footing. Not one slip, through a whole day of walking on a plethora of different surfaces. *Easy to put on/remove with full length inside zippers. *100% man-made materials/no leather/no animals harmed. Cons: *Fit: This is all that prevented 5 stars. Per size chart, Large = 12/13, Med = 10/11. I wear an 10.5 or 11 in most shoes. With these boots, I the Med/10/11 was absolutely at least one size too small for any amount of walking/standing and the Large/12/13 was a size too big but was my choice - I wore 2 pair of thick socks to make it work. Obviously, they need a fit one size in between to accommodate.

Bought these for a wedding (believe it or not!). I like the amount of detail on the boots, and the buckles. They DO feel warm since they're tall boots and I believe are synthetic leather. A minor quibble if you're looking for historically accurate footwear is that there is a zipper on the inside of the shoe (but fortunately not the outside), and the sole is very obviously synthetic. But if your budget (like mine) trembles at the thought of spending $185+ on more historically accurate, real leather boots, and you're looking for a nice quality, easy, and more affordable pair of pirate boots for just occasional wear, these are a good option. The held up to a night of dancing. Would I wear them for an 8 hour day of walking on city sidewalks or hiking through the woods? Probably not. Will they look nice for a special costume party or event? For sure. I did find them a bit large, I bought a Men's small, I wear a women's 7.5" wide. But I didn't mind having them bigger so I could wear nice thick socks. However if your shoe size is smaller than mine, I'd recommend looking for something else. But otherwise highly recommend!

They are very nice, the leather is a little cheap so might not get the renfaire use we normally put our boots through. But the style and overall look is great! These are for my husband, he wears a size 10.5 mens. We were unsure of the sizing, there is no help in description, I got him a size Medium 10-11. He says they fit perfect but I feel they look slightly small. Possibly because I am not used to him wearing a point toe. Either way he is happy with them!

These boots are an excellent buy. Each boot has 3 fancy looking buckles on them and they go on quite easily with a full length hidden zipper on the inner leg side of each boot. They are actually made of a PVC type vinyl [like a rain jacket but slightly thicker) that looks like leather which is actually a plus because that makes them very easy to clean. I wore them all day at a Renaissance Faire and had no issues whatsoever. I have "husky" thighs {not fat a$$) just thick man thighs along with as my wife calls them "Fred Flintstone" feet. I have wide feet and was not bothered at all by these boots. You're not going to wear them to work in or even for everyday use but they should hold up quite well for costume parties or special events. I am very pleased with this purchase!

Overall a great add to a pirate or other medieval costume, way better than boot covers. These are far better looking than boot covers and not much more expensive. I generally wear a 10 1/2 to 11 shoe so I went with the 10-11 size and they fit great and I have done quite a bit of walking in them and they are plenty comfortable. I live in a ‘pirate’ area on the gulf coast and there are lots of pirate themed events. After receiving these, I have noticed that quite a few of my pirate friends also have them. I would recommend them if you are looking for a better alternative to boot covers and don’t want to drop a few hundred on something more authentic.

For a costume boot,, not an every day boot.. it's great.. comfortable,, and fit as expected.. Just don't expect to wear these for a month straight.. they won't last.

I loved the quality and they fit perfectly. Loved the look on me.

J'ai acheté ses bottes pour mon costume de Père Noël et de Kilian Jones (version Once unpon a Time), elles sont superbes belles, confortables, j'ai fait ma journée complète de mon hôtel, RER et Parc Disneyland le jour d'Halloween et pas senti mes bottes aux pieds. Légères, confortable et belles. M et je chausse du 43,5 A recommander à 1000%

Les bottes sont vraiment de bonne qualité. La taille S est par contre un poil juste pour un 42. Pour une expédition en France 8€ de frais de douane arrivent par surprise 15 jours plus tard

Compré las botas basado en los reviews que existen del producto. Yo soy 11 US y pedí las XL dado que muchos mencionaban que con esa talla quedaban perfectas. Las recibí hoy y me quedan enormes. Literalmente son lo equivalente a un 13 US o quizá poco más. Al tratar de hacer la devolución normalmente Amazon ofrece el costo de envío gratis, pero aquí uno tiene que ver por qué medio hacer el envío y cotizando me saldría el regresarlas en cerca de los $1000 pesos. Estoy en México. (Más de la mitad del costo de envío). Supongo me las quedaré y les meteré plantillas para que medio me queden, pero me pareció terrible que dejen al cliente a la deriva. No gasten su dinero. Saludos.
