AINOLWAY Water Beads Sea Animals Tactile Sensory Experience Kit

After reading reviews on several different brands of “water beads,” I knew two things: they make a mess and they make kids go nuts. I have a very active child who loves water. I chose this set because it looked like a manageable amount of beads, and it came with sea creatures.I used a clear 18gallon **plastic box** tote filled about 1/3 of the way with water. Let me start with, my little man knew something was going on as soon as I had the tote in the kitchen. He used a kitchen spoon to stir the water before anything else was in the tote. (An hour later) I added the beads, and he saw the new “soup” as his to mind. I told him they needed a day to plump up before he could touch them. Of course he used that as an excuse to have his sea animals touch them in his stead. (facepalm)The next morning I woke up, stirred up the beads, and drained the excess water. **A must, the excess water is filmy**It took a little under 14 hours for them to plump to full capacity. ** As shown in the pictures, some beads were 3/4" to 1" in diameter. Most beads plumped and stayed between 1/2" and 3/4" **He wanted them in the bathtub so he could go “deep sea diving.” He has now been in the tub playing with them for about 3 hours. **He stayed in the tub, with the beads, for 4.5 hours total. Completely messy, many of the beads he sat or stood on got broken and a slimy goo would leak from the pieces of broken beads. Used a dustpan to scoop most back into the tote for storage. Absolutely wash off after extended play with water beads.**Will update **updates inside double asterisks** review when we do cleanup and dehydration and re-hydration if we do that. **Dehydration and Re-hydration never happened. Active child kept playing and squishing and messing with the beads. I threw survivors and broken beads away on day 3 due to lack of continued child interest. Sea creatures in play pack still routinely feature in bath time. **In summary: Awesome buy!

This was such a great value for my money. Kids loved it and I loved that it came with the animals. This was our first time playing with water beads. Takes a bit for them to “puff up” but they did quicker than I thought as the directions say 6-24 hours. They were easy to use and fun. They do bounce everywhere. The kids thought it was hilarious though but not as hilarious when they had to pick them all up. Haha.The proud t itself is very giftable but packaging is not really as it doesn’t say what it is on the outside. See 3rd photo. overall great but and will play with outside next time

So happy I took a chance with these. In my opinion the quality compares to safari toobs for only a fraction of the price. plus you get way more animals and the water beads. I'm really happy I tried these out before spending the money on more expensive ones. The animals and coloring are exactly what you get as pictured which is something I am finding that other brands do not do. What you see is what you get.

I hesitated purchasing based on some of the reviews but ordered anyway. So happy I did. It was perfect! No trouble with the waterballs breaking or falling apart- They hold together well and survived 3-3 yr olds at my preschool. The animals was an added bonus and well made and detailed- Will definitely purchase again in the future and try the other themes as well with this company! Worth every dollar!!!

As seen on Endless Energy Kids, these water beads provide so much entertainment for a 4 year old. We needed a calm activity to do inside so we did a video of making and playing with a homemade beach for our channel and it was a hit with the 4 year old! I’m terrible about reading directions until last second though, so it would be good to note that it takes hours for the water beads to expand in the water! That’s not a problem, it’s just good to know ahead of time so you can plan for it!
