Turn up the flavor with an Expresso maker.
Excellent deep flavor. I prefer Columbian coffee and have been using a drip with medium roast which I love. Medium didn't work well with my new expresso machine. This dark roast really kicks up the flavor and delivers a creamy dark cup and pairs great with foamed milk.

Solid company - amazon warehouse issues.
Coffee arrived stale, not the same as ordering direct from FRC. First, let me say this is not a review of FRC, they make awesome coffee at an affordable price, always delivered to my door within a few days of roast date. I spent $800 at FRC over the course of 2025 and only had one bag I did not enjoy, personal preference, no fault of theirs. I was excited to see that FRC sells on Amazon, since I had some gift card money to spend I decided to order from Amazon instead, expecting a drop ship or at least reasonably fresh. If you want fresh, order direct - the bag I received is 6 months old and smells and taste well past its prime.

i have tried many coffee beans. this one seems to be more bitter than the rest. but may be thats the way its supposed to be.
