Eucerin Intensive Repair Essential Oil Balm, Body Balm for Very Dry Skin with Skin Essential Oils Shea Butter and Sunflower Oil, 7 Oz, Pack of 1

I couldn't decide between the "Oil Balm" and "Roughness Relief Cream" so I bought both. End result is I like both - but for different things. I have tiny, hard little bumps behind my knees and on my feet - I don't know why - and the Roughness Relief Cream helps keep them under control. They don't go away completely, but it has exfoliating properties and when I use it regularly (2-3x a week) they become much less noticeable. I also have dry flaky skin on my arms and legs and the Oil Balm helps that. As you can see in the picture, the Oil Balm is greasier - truly an "oily balm". It doesn't disappear when you rub it in. It leaves your skin feeling greasy and shiny, which I actually like, but some people wouldn't. On the other hand, the Roughness Relief Cream is a cream, so when you rub it in, it absorbs into the skin and the skin doesn't really look any different. As for the stars, I gave the scent 5 stars but I really can't smell it at all and I don't have sensitive skin so I don't know about that. But I hope the comparison between these two products will help if you're trying to decide.

This is my absolute favorite skin care product! My skin has never felt so soft and hydrated. Applies like a petroleum jelly BUT actually absorbs into the skin. I put a few smaller dabs of my favorite scented lotion on top and helps maintain the scent all day (and into the next when I’ve been lazy) bummed I am almost out and can’t find more of it, appears to be discontinued. If you know a similar product please comment.

I have very dry and rough heels in winter. After I'd tried many remedies in vain, a friend of mine recommended this Eucerin Intensive Repair Essential Oil Balm last year. I was extremely pleased with the results. My heels became soft and smooth. For the very first time in many years, I did not have painful and bloody cracks. Literally, this Eucerin Balm saved my heels. Without any doubt, I recommend this product to anyone who has struggled with dry, rough and cracky heels. Please remember waring socks, because it's very oily.

I was not sure I'd like this moisturizer, but I do now that I've used it. When you first look at it, you think it's like Vaseline. Appears the same, but it's lighter and spreads beautifully. I put it on after my shower, then put on my robe until it absorbs so I don't get it on my clothes. I've been using it for a while now and have grown to love it. It was not easy to find so I bought two from Amazon right away. I'd try it first to see if you can deal with the 'greasiness' that you initially find but trust me your skin needs it! The smell is subtle so it's not offensive and dissipates after you have it on. It is not like the 'essential oil' smells which I can't tolerate!!

This product is the best in many brands that I have tried so far used. It's soft and blends into the skin leaving a shiny glow finish which I really love. It's deeply hydrating / preserves the moisture in the body because of its a dissolvable fat making it best for extreme dryness due to winter or pregnancy related dryness. I have found a mainstay brand and product that I will keep using through the years! The value for money is apt. Thanks Eucerin!

Eucerin products have always worked well for me. This is basically a really thick semi-solid oil. It does eventually soak in. It makes my dry skin happy and I sometimes use it over other lotions or creams. It leaves a nice glow behind. But it takes time for it to soak in you will be greasy. I learned on a recent trip that it's actually not my skin that is the problem it's the water where I live, even with a filter and this was the first product that made my skin look and feel like skin again.

I've been in peri menopause for a few years and my face got very, very dry. I tried different moisturizing creams, and nothing would really work. The intensive repair essential oil balm is amazing and the only product that has really helped moisturize my face. Texture is Vaseline like so a little goes a long way on the face. My face is no longer dry and has a glow to it. Thank you, Eucerin for making this fantastic product! I also really like that it doesn't have a scent. I highly recommend if you have dry or very dry skin. I use this product on my face, and it can also be used on the body.

I was looking for an alternative to the Oak Essentials Moisture Rich Balm because I'm really not trying to pay $90 for that stuff, and I actually like this stuff better. It goes on very balmy and slowly sinks into your skin over time. I use it in 2 ways: as an extra moisturizing step an hour or so before going to bed, or a thin layer under my makeup, which prevents my makeup from drying out all day. You need very, very little to get a noticeable effect. I think it's slightly less rich than the Oak Essentials version, which I actually like because I can wear it daily without breaking out. Great on dry hands, too!

This is the best product if you want your skin to be soft (elbow and knee part). Super sticky but effective.
