Eureka! I have found my ideal alarm clock. It is a lovely size and the numbers are bright and clear. It is so easy to set up, you really don't have to look at the instructions. The main reason for choosing this clock is that the buttons are on the top. I could never understand why clock manufacturers placed the alarm button at the back of the clock. I have knocked over many drinks by picking up a clock to turn the alarm off.

It is cheap clock and may not be the greatest time keeper but great for me. It has large red numbers which I can see easily at night. Not as easy to see when lights on but comes into its own in the dark. Shame itime doesn’t change automatically when clocks alter but what do you expect for this money.

Absolutely marvellous! My wife and I have one either side of our bed. Simple to set up, change times etc. The best bedside alarm clock we've had in 50 years!

I bought it husband as a replacement. It’s easy to set up and the dimmer is very good. It is small and light without the batteries which aren’t needed. I don’t know about the alarm as we only wanted the clock. A good buy. Very pleased with it.

This small digital clock does not take up much room on my bedside cabinet which is great. The numbers are bright and easy to see during the night even for someone who is very shortsighted. I had to change the dimmer setting though because it was way too dim for me to see but that was very easy to do. I would have preferred the time to be shown on a 24 hour setting but that's a small gripe. I haven't used the alarm setting because it's not been necessary so I can't comment on that. Overall, for the price, it's size and reading the time, it's ideal for me.

We have been having a lot of power failures for the last couple of years because of strong storms with lots of rain in the spring and summer, hurricane winds in the late summer and fall, and piles of snow every winter. Each time the power goes out, I have to reprogram all the clocks. The alarm clocks are plugged in and as they aged they were harder to change the date, time, and alarm. I found this clock online and bought one that had a battery backup with 3AAA, batteries. I prefer to leave it plugged in but now when the power goes off, which can be intermittent, I don't have to reprogram the clock each time. But when I do have to reprogram it is very easy by simply holding the hour or minute button down until you have the right time. This clock has very bright red, fairly large numbers on its face. That can also be toned down by simply pressing another button. So far I'm pleased with this one and may order another for a different room next time we lose power if I get frustrated with another old clock.

Love this clock! just the right size of the numbers (large enough to see, small enough not to stand out in the room), the red colour is "flat" and NOT the annoying neon-like flickering one, functionality is precisely what I would want in a simple useful unit: no unnecessary bells and whistles, hence no confusing unnecessary buttons or switches. Brightness adjustment (incl. auto-adjust) are very nice features. And the clock is pretty accurate: I have not had to adjust the time even once over the past few months. Kudos and recommend!
