Chickpea Rotini Pasta with Lentils, Gluten Free, 36-ounces

Very tasty, high in fiber and protein, a little expensive but a good choice to your normal pasta

If the ingredient's list is true, this is by far the best (BEST!) pasta substitute we've ever had. I hate even using the word "substitute" because that somehow implies inferior taste or quality, but no: this tastes like the highest grade pasta you can buy (durum wheat type), but the nutritional profile is fantastic. The potassium content alone is a boon to those trying to lower their blood pressure. It is pricey, but if you can afford it, there's nothing better. If you have guests you like enough to share this pasta with, they will never know it is healthful and not regular pasta. Buon appetito!

Meh, The taste is not too bad, but after looking at the nutritional information on the package, I really question whether this is a more healthy alternative to regular pasta. I would rather eat 2/3 the amount of a normal serving of standard pasta, and a handful of chick peas separately, as a side, rather than eat this chick pea pasta. Again, it isn't bad, but as a non-expert on nutrition, my gut feeling is that there is more hype than real benefit here. After I finish this off, I won't buy any more and just will eat regular pasta occasionally and in moderation.

I first tried these when they were available at BJs. But they didn't carry them for long, so I bought them here. These noodles are a good substitute for wheat pasta. They cook up more quickly than wheat pasta. You have to pay attention because they can quickly overcook and become mushy. They do retain the "chickpea" flavor, which is pretty mild and easy to mask with sauce.We have also tried lentil bean pasta, which we prefer over this chickpea pasta. The lentil bean pasta has a nicer consistency and less distinct flavor.

This is one of the few tasty alternative pastas we've been able to find. Its Non-GMO, which is what we're striving for in all our foods. It comes in 3 separate bags. 1 bag feeds my husband & myself with a serving or so left over. Be careful not to over cook or it gets a little mushy.

Great for vegetarians! I try to get plenty of protein in with my meals but I am not a fan of tofu, most beans, etc. so this has been a life-send. It tends to stay on the more firm side but the flavor is great and has 12 grams of protein in one serving. It's a bit pricy (especially online) but worth it if you are looking for an alternative protein source.

I suffer from Celiac disease and cannot eat pasta made with wheat. I have tried many types of pasta, but this is the best that I have found to date. Fast shipping and well packaged. I would recommend this product which taste and texture is very much like wheat pasta.

Compared to other chick pea pastas, these are amazing! We used to buy them from Sam's club but they discontinued the item. These are a great, healthy replacement for traditional wheat based pasta. The difference between these and other brands is the addition of lentils. They seem to give the pasta a more firm texture than other chick pea pastas and they really add a deep flavor to the product. I would highly recommend.
