Is the material thin?

I would say 50 50 not tick or thin

Is the neck tight on this shirt? I've bought similar shirts but the neck is flimsy and folds over.

The neck portion does stretch after multiple uses, but as far as of rn I never had it fold over or become flimsy. And when you do get it for the first time it isn’t tight as in choking you, but it is firm.

I’m roughly around 250lb will the 2xl fit?

Definitely go a size up. Even though it does stretch well, it’s skin tight. I’m usually a Medium but I got the large and it fits perfectly.
