Together Is Better: A Little Book of Inspiration

Together Is Better is a quick read, but it packs a surprising amount of inspiration into such a small book. It’s full of short messages, simple drawings, and little reminders about leadership, teamwork, and choosing to walk through life with people who lift you up. Even though it’s light and easy to get through, the ideas stay with you. What I enjoyed most is that the book feels encouraging without being preachy. Each page has a motivational quote or concept that makes you stop and think about the kind of team you want to be part of — at work, at home, or in everyday life. It’s the kind of book you can flip open at random and still get something out of it. If there’s a downside, it’s that it’s very simple. If you’re looking for deep explanations or longer stories, this isn’t that type of book. But for what it is — a little boost of positivity and perspective — it nails it. Overall, I think it’s a meaningful, uplifting read. Short, thoughtful, and a good reminder that life really is better when we choose to move forward together.

I can't recommend this book enough! Simon is somehow able to pack the very essence of good leadership into a fun, engaging format that leaves you feeling motivated to change the very atmosphere of you workplace, no matter what position or title you may hold!

Anything Simon Sinek is an excellent read.. I have this as a gift and it was adorable

Okay, let's be real, if you LOVE Simon Sinek, you'll love this book. It's a quick 5-10 min read. Each page is an inspirational quote or topic that follows an illustrated story. Very abstract but you get the gist pretty quickly. If you take the tame and focus on one page at a time you get a deeper meaning to each step. My favorite part of the whole book was the scratch and sniff page. I have NO idea why. It shocked me when I came across that page, and was like REALLY?!? Then after reading the entire book, I went back and scratched the smelly page again. lol It ended up being a highlight of the book for me. That and the perception change of the children as the story progresses. Super cute idea and I liked the concept of this book.

Interesting book. It is written as if like a children's story book. Simon Sinek is a very good leadership and motivational writer, and he does not disappoint in this book. Most concepts discussed the importance of dependence on your team and perseverence in hardships, and it spoke it so elegantly with the beautiful handdrawn illustrations. I guess the only kind of book I can relate this one to is "Who Moved My Cheese?" where the writer takes technical concepts and metaphorically weaves it into the storyline to make it entertaining and meaninful for the reader. Mr. Sinek does this very well in this book. The book also has a characteristic smell to it that in my opinion is woody, and bold. That with stating, I did not learn any new concepts in this book, only that he spoke the concepts in a different way and possibly for a specific audience. I had originally purchased because i wanted to use this book as one of my groomsmen gifts, but it is best left to give to a young colleague or college graduate trying to find his way in his career.

This book came into my life at the correct moment. Some people in my office have books on display (which I find a bit pretentious, but whatever) and I see lots by this author, but I had never seen this specific book. I didn't even make the connection between Simon Sinek and this cute little book, because the presentation of this one in comparison to the books I'd seen is strikingly different; this one looks more like a children's book. It wasn't until I finished this book that I even knew that Simon Sinek, the dude who wrote this book, is the same dude who wrote all those pretentious looking books displayed by people in my office. Nevertheless, this book is wonderfully simple. I don't even remember how I heard of or found it, but I'm glad I did, because it was exactly what I needed to read/hear at the time, and having read this book helped me tremendously in the months to come. There are several little nuggets of wisdom in here

LOVE this book! I really can't say enough good things. It's a short read that is packed full of great reminders of what Leadership really is or should be. The first part is an illustrated story. The art is lovely. The second half goes a little more in depth about some of the ideas. If you find yourself at a point where you need a little inspiration this is actually worth the money. So many books try to take a great thought and stretch it into a novel. This book gets to the point and says all of the important stuff you need without dragging on. One other reviewer stated that they purchased this book as a gift to others. I actually thought about doing that after I first read it. It even has an area in the front for you to write who you are giving it to. Talented author and illustrator.

Five stars because I know Simon reads these and his work is inspiring and extremely helpful when trying to explain the challenges companies face and how simple the fix really can be. Important to include is the other reviewers are right - the book comes with quite a bit of dirt on the cover which is disappointing. It looks second-hand and like it’s seen better days. I replaced the original book that came dirty and had a new one sent to me that came just as dirty and torn. I wouldn’t mind as much if when you remove the cover, the hardcover binding had the same graphics and title as the paper cover but it does not. Also, there’s no scent to the book - not something I was dying to have but again, something I know was important to the book’s message from watching countless videos of Simon’s talks and interviews.

Davvero un ottimo libro. Mi piace molto il metodo che l'autore usa per esprimere i concetti, trovo che sia di grande ispirazione per molti ambiti della vita. Tutto in inglese, con molte illustrazioni. Consigliato

Interested in exploring leadership yourself or with others. Don’t miss this unusual gem of a book. Provocative and yet extremely easy access. And unlike Simon Sinek’s other terrific books, this’ll only take you 10 minutes to read!

At first it may seem like a Children's book. You may complete book in less than an hour in its entirety. But the way it is written and the message in each and every sentence will give you complete different perspective towards leadership and team management. One of the must read for everybody.
