Hi, my filter has 8 cartridges (17(length) x 7(outer) x 3 (inner). Can i use these 4 instead (almost same total length and same outer and inner)?

This is just my opinion but I wouldn’t think so. I have these exact same filters for my pool. Most pumps take mine for example have a bottom and top housing to hold each filter securely in place. Might seem to have the same measurements but not sure you will be able to secure them in the pump or put it back together properly making it air tight. Hope this helps.

Does this filter have any bracing in the middle
