Pays for itself, over and over.
One use and it just about pays for itself. Nice diagrams included in a sturdy molded case not some cheapo feeling case either. Tool works flawlessly and seems to be very well made from strong materials. This is the right tool for ac clutches.Yup,still own this kit (09/2020). Worked fine on my old Honda Accord, now I'm used it on a Honda Civic, 2005. Turned out due to the high mileage it was just the washer causing it to kick out, run erratically. Removed it, clutch works like a champ now because of restored clearance(closer), magnet works better. Common Honda problem when they get over 150-200 thousand miles on them, cheap cheap fix, why pay the dealer some outrageous amount?

Excellent Product - The Tight tool at right price
I was trying to take an ac clutch off of a 99 Park Avenue and tried everything. I ordered this set and had the clutch plate off in minutes. It was easy to use and I especially like the easy to read laminated users manual built into the case. I have only used this kit on 1 car, but from the description they will work on almost all domestic and foreign car ac clutches.

Nice set from Powerbuilt as always. Worked perfectly on my P1 Volvo S40!
Great set. All the essentials needed to help me tackle the dreaded A/C intermittent issue on my '09 Volvo S40. Took all the guess work out from scrambling to locate various nuts and bolts because it is a complete set, basically 'turn-key' and ready-to-use right out of the box. Another great tool set added to my collection for future use.

Saved a bundle on an AC repair
The AC on my '05 Volvo S40 would run for 15 or 20 minutes, and then crap out and blow ambient air....Bought a can of refrigerant which included a pressure gauge, saw that pressure was great (OK...about $10 or $15 wasted). Various Volvo owner sites indicated it was likely to be a slipping AC clutch, and gave enough detail as to how to remove the pulley, shims and reduce the gap (This clutch is basically a powerful magnet)...Sounded like it was worth a shot (versus around $600 for a new compressor w/clutch, and another $300+ for installation at a dealer). Bought this pulley removal kit from Amazon in mid-2012, took me less than 1.5 hrs to do the job. After about a year now, the AC works great!...A $60 solution vs. around $1000 (Hm, which one should I do?...Duh!) .... Bottom line: Consider doing this first before blowing a wad of cash on replacing a compressor/clutch when that may not be the problem at all...Who knows. May find this useful for other pulley-removal projects. If not, it more than paid for itself with the $ I saved using it just once.

Works
I bought this to remove an AC clutch from a 1990 and 1996 GMC AC compressor. It worked great. I wasn't sure if the right remover would be included as it doesn't list which pullers are for what product, but mine was there. It also has the tool to put the clutch back on so it can be set to the right clearance. I'm happy with the purchase, it was $40 cheaper than the SnapOn equivalent and SnapOn didn't have as many pullers and was still made in Tiawan. This set is from China/Tiawan. Only thing missing is SnapOn has a pully puller available. If you are a DIY then get a pully puller when you order this. SnapOn does sell that and you might find it on Amazon as well.

Exactly what I needed
Get coverage. Used this to change the A/C compressor clutch on a 1969 Buick - saving me over $300!

In a perfect world...
...this would be the perfect tool set. However, the 5mm bolts would not thread onto my clutch plate. Thankfully, I had my own. But then, the clutch plate is so rusted it has seized into it's "home". There isn't a tool in this kit that will hold the clutch plate and allow you to turn the center bolt to push the clutch plate away from the pully. Why not remove the compressor you ask..? Because the car is 22 yrs old next month and this is the original clutch / pully / compressor with original A/C lines, recently vacuumed and recharged at a shop...I do not want to disturb the hose crimps. (2003 Subaru Forester XS)So, gently working the clutch plate with the mini crowbars, a stubby hammer, and PB Blaster, I have the plate most of the way out...This tool kit did not work for my situation. The instructions (with pictures) in the kit appear to be in French and English...might have Spanish..? I didn't check before I packed everything back together. It's a nice kit, but not for our Subaru...

Allowed me to reshim the clutch on my 06 volvo s40 (but i needed some additional screws)
this allowed me to remove a shim on my 06 Volvo s40 getting my ac back into working order. the puller didn't fit exactly, but i was able to make it work good enough by using some m5-m6 screws that i had purchased in an assortment for my 3D printer https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0777HNR67/ so, with these combined and some stubbornness you could also fix your 06 S40 Volvo's AC on the cheap.
