Durable, Well-Designed, Lightweight SUP Pump
I have used this pump once, and I think it is good. It is lightweight enough to carry around, and it feels durable.I bought this pump to replace the pump that came with the GoPlus inflatable stand up paddleboard ("SUP") that I bought from Amazon. To inflate the SUP, set the pushbutton in the "out" position, and the pump inflates with both the downstroke and upstroke. I use this setting until the SUP is fully inflated but not yet pressurized. Then, when the pressure gets to about 5 psi, set the pushbutton to the "in" position, and the pump inflates with only the downstroke. Use this setting to get to full pressure of 15 psi.The shaft and handles are sturdy, and the pressure gauge is well positioned. Then, to deflate the SUP, attach the hose to the other port, and it pulls the air out to make the SUP flat for rolling up.I think that this is the best SUP pump for the value. It seems like good quality and I would buy it again and recommend it to friends.

good pump for ISUP
I've owned several inflatable boat pumps and this is one of the better ones. Better than I expected for the price. Would give 5 stars except it only came with one thickness of gasket on the valve insert, which I had to replace because it was too thick for my board.Pros:-ability to switch from 2-way to 1-way (down only) pumping really speeds up inflation. You can even hold the pump horizontally (accordion style) in early stages to save bending over.-lightweight but sturdy construction, hose feels more durable than some others-solid handles and good gauge placementCons (all minor or common to most manual pumps):-tips over easily-hard on back due to short height-gauge markings pretty small-gets increasingly difficult to add pressure above 10 psi-HR valve adapter not removable

Won't fit most valves
There is only one connector and you can't change it to pump inflatables with different valves

Perfect replacement pump for our SUPs
Have two SUPs and both the hand pumps that came with them failed. I bought this and an electric pump as well. This pump feels to be much higher quality than what came with the SUPs and I would say filled them up much quicker and easier than the stock pumps.Hose and fittings are much higher quality as well. The stock pumps hoses would leak air, not the hose/fittings from this one.In comparison to an electric pump, I would say stick with this hand pump. I was able to fill up one SUP in easily half the time it took for the electric (shark) pump to fill up the other. Granted the electric is much less effort, but at three times the cost I think I would stick to two hand pumps.

Suddenly it's very hard to pump
Had it about 6-weeks. Only used it five or six times. It was never abused, always put away safely and always taken good care of. Suddenly after not using it for about five days it's become very hard to pump. It still works, but it's not pumping smoothly at all and I have no idea why. I'll keep it for a while and maybe try cleaning it, but it shouldn't have been dirty. It was in the garage from the beginning.

Not what I needed.
I Bought the wrong hand pump. So I'm sending this one back. This pump is only good for blowing up one type of items. It's not universal like most pumps are It's fixed to handle one type of air valve.

Excellent SUP replacement hand pump
One of the dual-action hand pumps that came with my iSUP failed, so I had to try to find a similar unit...dual action with the ability to disable the dual-action via a button, knob, etc. This one works great.

It just works!!
I got to try this out for the first time this weekend. It is replacing an old original SUP pump that we've had for years. This thing works amazingly well. It inflates our huge 11' 6" SUP in under 5 minutes easily- doing dual action mode for the bulk of the pumping then switching over to single action to get it to higher PSI. I can't comment on how accurate the PSI meter is on the top, but the needle does move. It seems simple and better built than most off-brand outdoor gear you'd pick up off of amazon. Very impressed so far... we use our SUP often and I will update if it breaks. If no update, then this thing is going strong!!
