I installed 2 sets of rope lights in 2022 and within a month lost one remote, unfortunately the only thing I don’t like is how they use individual remotes for each strand. I have these under my kitchen cabinets and on one half of the kitchen I would have to unplug in order to turn off and on. I was thinking about replacing the whole set just to have the ease of a remote when I noticed they sold the remote section only. I purchased and set it up. Thank goodness I didn’t want to take a whole strand down and then rehang it, talk about a nightmare. Thank goodness I didn’t have too. Now I have perfectly functioning strands which remotes that change the brightness and timers. It’s awesome. Finally a product that supports replacement parts. Too many products today you have to dispose of something simple goes wrong because they have no replacement parts. I give it 5 stars and so very happy that I could fix it rather than replace the whole thing.

We bought a “neon” (not actually neon.. some sort of LED tubing encased in resin) sign for our wedding and hung it in our living room after. The remote works well until the battery starts to deplete, but it lasts quite a while. Does exactly what it is supposed to. Numerous preset lighting options that we use often.

The remote works well, but is complicated. I only need the ability to dim.Others may appreciate the large number of functions more than I.Its an outdoor application, but sheltered from direct weather. Hope it lasts.

Bought for existing set and this one makes it work better than before with additional features.

What more can I say - this works perfectly and you receive two!!! I have one for indoors and one for outdoors. Gives you a set of quick options for morning and night. And the best part is that the remote works every time!!

Very easy to use. Plug-n-Play connectors. This is an inline switch/receiver that sits between the outlet and the power supply (see photo). Not shown in the photo is the little remote controller as we don't use it as much as the switch. We are using it to control the "JOYLIT 24V COB LED Strip Lights 16.4ft 3000K Warm White 550LM/FT Super Bright CRI 95+, UL Premium 2400LEDs Dotless Dimmable Adhesive Tape Light 90W for Commercial, Industrial, Residential" tapelight product.This makes for an easy DIY system for under-cabinet lighting.

Update: the seller contacted me to offer a replacement. I'm surprised and impressed by their customer service. A replacement was shipped very quickly and works PERFECTLY: remote and all. The remote turns lights on and off, and the dimmer switches work as expected. The in-line switches on the cord are handy, too, for when I misplace the remote.Fantastic customer service!================I bought this to replace a "motion sensor" control for an already-installed set of LED strip lights. The old control had stopped working altogether. I don't know if there's anything wrong with the strip; I was operating it in the meantime by just unplugging it to turn it off.This new unit works, but the remote control does nothing AT ALL. I can turn the LED lights on (or off) by holding down the power button for 1-2 seconds. Anything shorter doesn't work. It's possible there's some issue like the wrong voltage for the strip I have, or some problem with the strip itself... but at this point I'm happy to have an easier way to turn it on or off. A remote would have been nice, but at this price point it's "good enough."The remote looks nice. It was also an Amazon Warehouse buy, so it could just be a defective unit. Wasn't worth my time to troubleshoot further. Good luck! :)

This thing flickers. You can see if when you move your eyes back and forth near it. The reason is easy to see with an oscilloscope: the wave is really dirty. That should be a square wave. All of that other stuff in the wave results in visible flicker.This thing doesn't have many brightness settings, and they're discrete steps. I want more fine-grained control.There's a "fade" setting, but it still fades in discrete steps. The flicker is even more pronounced at the low end of the fade.I'm sending this back. Clearly I'm just going to have to implement my own dimmer with an esp32.
