Does not come with install tool. I used a pick to start the pilot hole, then wrapped paper towels around the jars of a vice grip to avoid scuffing. Then gently closed them around the two pieces. Slick as wet butter. But honestly if you have a bit of strength in a finger squeeze, you'll likely be able to just bare hand squeeze this together til it seats.
