I have bought these for 8-9 year olds who enjoy stem type toys. They always make a good gift!

Not Recommended
My 8yr old grandson didn't have enough strength in his hands to snap together the parts, I had to do that. Assembly requires a miniature cross head screwdriver which is not included (many households might not have one), and the 2 x AAA batteries are not included. The illustrations on the box make it look like you will be assembling all the geared drive but this all comes already assembled. The level of complexity of this kit can only be described as very simple and in no way educational so I can't understand the label of "Science Museum"
