This is the second time I've purchased this set of socks. For the last two years I have worn them every single day for almost half the year (we live in an old, cold house). I'd worn holes in some pairs so it was time to reorder! The new ones just arrived and I had forgotten how lusciously soft they are when they're brand new. I've ordered other sets of socks from other sellers claiming a high percentage of wool content but they were clearly mostly cotton, if they had a shred of wool in them at all. Not the case with these socks! They say 55% wool and I believe them. Really great price, considering. For care, I wash them on a wool cycle in cold water and let them air dry. I can't recommend these socks more highly, and I hope they won't stop selling them anytime soon! I couldn't be without them. They keep my feet wonderfully warm, they're thick and comfortable, the colors are nice and stay vibrant, and overall they last a good long while!

Only one review when bought, so took a chance. Glad I did! Got the cats set and they are very well made, fit well and wash well. Warm and worth the money. Very happy, oh and the colours are really lovely.

These are lovely socks, soft and warm. Easily slipped on and no tight elastic around the ankle. Colours are lovely and true to the picture. I would not describe these as walking boot socks but they are great for every day wear.

These socks are great. Very warm but without too much thickness. I wash these in a delicates wash in the washing machine and the socks are not bothered by this.

Just so comfortable to wear, keep feet warm going about house, out and about with shoes on very very soft, love them so much have ordered another 5 pairs, I'm a women's 6 and fit perfect, plenty room for toes, not washed yet but hey be back to review if washing affects the socks.

These socks are OK, they're not as thick as I had hoped and they are quite small in size compared to other wool socks.

Lovely range of natural colours! Very impressed with the quality of the fabric plus the great value for money for 5 pairs! They are not too thick which is important otherwise the walking boots become too tight and uncomfortable.

This is Geebs' Wife -- I have big feet (size 10W). I was a little skeptical about buying these, most 'one size fits all' socks are nowhere near big enough for me but I read the reviews and figured, why not? They are stretchy enough to fit my wide feet, don't bind into my calves like most short socks and long enough that they are higher than my ankles. They're quite comfortable because of the stretchiness. I can see a little pilling after a couple days of use (for which I took off one star) but I didn't expect them to be to be wonderful for the price. I wouldn't call them 'hiking' socks; I would want them to be thicker for hiking, but they are great for inside normal shoes. I mostly just wear them around the house. I like the cat design. I'm ordering more ;D

Christmas present for my mother, who is always complaining of cold feet. Beautiful colors and seem well-made. Material is soft and the price was reasonable. She was very pleased with them! I have not heard any more remarks about her cold feet, so they must be keeping her warm. The size range is reasonable and would fit pretty much anyone, young to elderly. She wears them daily and sometimes at night, so she does get a lot of use out of them. I would purchase them again if she would ever wear them out, or just request more.

I'm always leery of new socks because I need my socks not to be tight at the top. Most are. I was pleasantly surprised by these; they're not completely loose (my preference) but are very stretchy and don't dig in. They're quite thin for wool socks (not flimsy but a good weight) so they work well with shoes. Similar to mens' dress sock weight. Colors are lovely. I tend not to buy women's socks because I am a size 10, and so many won't fit me (even though they claim to). But these do fit just fine. Probably 10 is about as high as I'd go - I think mine fit we without being so stretched that they're uncomfortable. I have bought some for my daughters who are both size 9, but wouldn't hesitate to buy for smaller feet either. Good value. Highly recommend.

Die Socken sind sehr schön verarbeitet und nicht besonders dick, aber dicht und weich. Als Wandersocken wären sie mir zu schade und nicht dick genug. Meine Mutter trägt sie über der Strumpfhose und es geht noch mit den Winterhausschuhen. Die Einheitsgröße passt meiner Mutter bei Größe 39/40 recht gut., mir passen sie bei Größe 42 auch noch. Sie sitzen perfekt und das Bündchen schnürt nicht ein. Nachdem man in den Geschäften kaum noch Auswahl an schönen Socken mit Wolle zu anständigen Preisen findet, musste ich online suchen. Die Kombination von Baumwolle und Wolle finde ich perfekt und insgesamt bin ich sehr zufrieden. Je nach Farbe gefallen sie auch der Jugend. Meine Tochter hat sich auch ein Paar davon gemopst.
