really nice
Sturdy and well made. I lke the spike on it. It lies flat in the knife. It comes in a great package as well. Great for the price.

Awesome knife
Boker always makes a very quality knife. This one comes with an awesome marlin spike. Great tool.

Solid working knife
Nice knife! Really. Large enough to be useful, and sharp from the box. Very sturdy marlin spike that locks. Only real issue is that I wish the blade locked as well. For the price, a good deal. On the heavy side, but I'm fine with that. Get/make a lanyard and you're ready to spend some time on the boat.

Nice, heavy knife. Great value!
I really like all the features of this knife. It is HEAVY.. not a 'pocket' knife. Maybe a belt sheath? Great for tackle box or boat. Too heavy for a neck lanyard. Spike locks.. nice.. blade does not.. also would have been nice. Overall I think its a good value.. and if it falls overboard.. oh well!!!!

Really nice knfe, hard to buy.
Very nice knife. Sharp out of the box, really solidly built. Blade does not lock but spike does. It was a gift for my son who sails most weekends during the summer. But we had to return it because of weird (and seemingly intractable) order/billing/shipping fiasco. No way to fix this mess so to avoid being double billed for this knife we returned the knife to Amazon. I bought him a replacement locally at REI.

Nice marlin spike for the price
I love having this marlin spike for sailing. It has come in handy on several occasions to undo long-tied knots. The partially serrated blade makes quick work of cutting thru line and I've even used the shackle key. It's seems a bit on the heavy side (5.5 oz) to carry full-time. It's an attractive knife and the price is right to have a sturdy marlin spike on board.

A folding marlinspike with an opposing sheepfoot blade and a shackle key on the handle
I really like this folding marlinspike. The minimalist design has a shackle key riveted into the frame for a handle, improving the control with smaller flat surfaces. Opposite the marlinspike is a partially serrated sheepfoot blade that does not lock and does not need to imo. Relative to the marlinspike (the primary tool), the blade is secondary followed by a functional shackle key handle without camping tools (can opener, bottle opener, tab lifter, and fishing equipment). Pair this knife with a similar sized folding knife where the blade locks and has a shackle key cut into the blade that can be used when folded. The marlinspike is useful in both the half open and fully locked positions. The handle is light relative to the marlinspike allowing for finer motor control which would be impeded with useless weight attached to it.
