Seems solid, dependable quality, increases safety.
Nice tool, good quality. Seems that I need to get into an electrical box every other year or so. I fav a forty plus year old contact tester. But I learned about these non contact testers and had a good experience with Klein. This tool is really good. It has a green led to make it clear that the unit is functioning and the batteries are still good. That’s important to keep you safe. It makes it very clear when there is a hot wire. It made my swap out of old smoke detectors safe. While I first isolated and cut the breaker, this tool made it sure there were no hot wires in the box. Nice and safe. Highly recommend this tool. And Klein seems like solid quality.

Used to detect live wires. Blue, red, and green. Various levels of red means be careful extra. Very easy to use and high quality.

Parfait et simple d'utilisation.
C'était parfait pour tester le courant avec une seule main (sans danger de s'électrocuter) et très simple d'utilisation. J'avais déjà divers testeurs, mais ils étaient plus gros et exigeaient les deux mains, ce qui n'est guère pratique lorsqu'on a à tester des fils au plafond, les bras en l'air, par exemple avec des fluorescents et des ballasts qui ont parfois de nombreux fils.
