Dead Company. And Defective Product
The product is not as described. And the accessories listed on this Amazon webpage do NOT work with this Fugoo Element speaker!! I reported it to the seller. They didn't care and told me to contact the manufacturer. Good luck with that! They don't respond to calls or emails. It has been weeks of trying. And many other people report the same thing on Amazon answers & other reviews for Fugoo. They're a dead company getting rid of stock. And their specs are wrong!! BOTH manuals state the mounting thread is standard 1/4". That is NOT true!! It's M6-1.0 which is NOT useful. Common tripod stuff doesn't works with it. And there are no d-ring or camera mount screws in M6. So simply mounting this speaker has gone from a 1 minute job to literally 6 hours. Finding & buying M6 screws that might be modifiable to work with mounting gear, cutting & machining the screw, buying more custom mounting gear, and then jerry rigging a mount. ALLLLL because they didn't use a standard thread LIKE THEY SAY THEY DO! Both manuals give incorrect information.Photos Attached

Fugoo is Good
I own a tough fugoo speaker and has never given me problems and sound is good. However, this Element Fugoo i purchased could not power on unfortunately. I still highly recommend Fugoo brand. I also urge them to have a responsive customer support contact.

Description of speaker drivers is not accurate
I have not purchased the Element model, but I have purchased the original Tough and just recently the Tough 2.0.I just wanted to point out that the description for this speaker is incorrect, it states that it has 360 sound which is not true. It also states that the speaker has two front drivers, two tweeters to the sides and a passive radiator in the rear. This speaker ACTUALLY has two front drivers and two passive radiators on the ends, and nothing in the rear. You can see this clearly in the pictures provided by Amazon. I would be concerned, because this speaker is over twice the price of the Tough 2.0 and it looks like they both have the same main front-facing drivers, but I would think that the lack of tweeters would compromise the sound quality. The new Tough 2.0 does not have the same bass as the original Tough, so I'm not sure the passive radiators on the ends are going to cut it.This looks like an inferior speaker but with great battery life and some nice voice activation functionality.

do not buy
I bought my first Fugoo speaker 11 years ago, it has never given me any problems and it still works and sounds great, except that it looks old and worn out, so I decided to buy a new one. I decided on this model because it had everything I was looking for; However, this Element Fugoo I purchased does not compare at all to the one I already have. It sounds horrible, my 11-year-old fugoo speaker sounds way louder and way better than this speaker. I do not recommend it at all.

Not what I expected from the Newest and "loudest" Fugoo Speaker Yet
First off I will start by saying I have been a happy and loyal Fugoo customer since their first generation speakers. Since they never made pairing of the XL units possible this seemed like their solution. Sadly it is not even close. The Element is not 360 degrees of sound with deep base like all of their other units. "4 FUGOO-designed acoustic drivers: 2 - Neodymium-magnet 1.75” drivers, 2 - 2.5” passive radiators, 20 Watts total of audio power" 2 speakers are in the front and 2 are on the sides. The back side of the speaker contains the charging port. This make all of the sound forward projecting.Since the sound is only projected from the face of the speaker it really limits the area one speaker can be utilized in. if your looking to fill a room with sound this is not the speaker. with that said I assume they did this to force you to purchase a second unit and pair them.Aside from the lack of volume, the sound is very tinny and not crisp. When turned to full volume the speaker can not handle it, there is a ton of distortion. When I tested I was only able to listen at 80%, anything louder and the sound quality was very poor. It is very noticeable when you first turn the unit on. Original Fugoo customers are used to hearing a deep and clear voice saying "speaker is on... connected", this is the same voice but it sounds tinny and as if you were in a hallway. The final dagger, customer service. One scale of 1-10 it is a -10. Emails, calls, chats all go unanswered. I waited about 4 weeks for my units to arrive and during that time I had reached out numerous times for product information and still have not gotten a response. The reason for 2 stars instead of one was constructability. The unit although very light in weight seems very well built. I also like the micro usb charging port vs the XL's standalone chargerIn the end, this may be the correct product for some consumers but someone coming from xl to element will not be happy. I can not prove this but my gut tells me that this is not the original company. It seems as though someone else is branding a new product with the fugoo brand name.
