I have XL size head (23 inches). Does it fit large heads?

I would say yes. My head measures 21", but I stretched it and it appears to stretch at least two inches. You'll love this hat! Tight knit, warm, and looks great.

Cony hair is rabbit hair. I play winter golf in my hat and it is very warm.

Does it cover your ears?

If you have an average size head, it fits over your ears no prob. If you Head is larger than average, you will have to pull & tug & place in the right way but it is totally doable & !worth it. Bazillion compliments on this hat! I am not paid for feed back but the truth is this is the coolest, warmest, fun hat I have ever seen! Therefore, I would have worn ear muffs if needed bc so stylish & cozy!
