Game Theory: A Beginner's Guide to Game Theory Mathematics, Strategy & Decision-Making

Pretty thin
Not a lot of book for the money - it's a pamphlet and feels more like a blog entry than a full book. I checked this out in case it would support reading for a psychology course (including decision making). But it's not suitable - in fact I struggle to see who it would be suitable for.A concise introduction is fine in principle, but this is little more than a series of vague descriptions of terms (if you knew what they meant before, no help - if you didn't, then not enough to understand). Perhaps Chapter 4 on Shapley Value being useful to someone who didn't know it already, but not worth the price for a single example which takes 5 min to read. Otherwise very difficult to see why you'd read this rather than the much more informative, and fun, "Introducing Game Theory: A Graphic Guide" or "Game theory, a non-technical introduction" (by Morton Davis) if you can find it.

Not much here
I was looking for a brief and accessible introduction to game theory, so I ordered this book. It arrived today, and I read it in a couple of hours. So yes, it was indeed brief, but as a previous reviewer pointed out, there is virtually nothing here. I suppose the large font and generous spacings were designed to conceal the lack of material. I would have felt better about the purchase if it came with a box of crayons to doodle in all the white spaces.
