So, I had a massive vole problem in my front yard. Tried mice bait cubes, smoke sticks, etc. Nothing working. If anything, there were more of them. Then I read about using castor oil with dish soap mixed with water and spraying on the troubled area. Try it and you won't believe the results. Apparently the castor oil gives the voles and upset stomach/indigestion so they won't eat whatever they've been eating and they move on. I swear, I had these things for years and couldn't get rid of them and spraying the castor oil mixture got rid of them in two days. A very noticeable change after 1 application... and you're not killing them, they just move out since there's nothing they want to eat! Perfect. Yes we use it for mole control in the flower gardens (lots of flowers) 8oz to 1gal. Water and 1/4 cup dawn dish soap!!! It works!!!
