Staying warm in Northern Canada!
REVIEW EDIT.I originally gave this 5 stars and would have kept that rating had it not died in a couple of months. The lights on the control display are blinking and will not turn off. I've read online that it's now toast and needs to be thrown out. Waste of money for the longevity of the product.This blanket/poncho is fantastic! I was worried it might not get warm enough but on high, it's nice and toasty! It's also a lotlarger than I thought. It completely wraps me up and extends to my knees (I'm 5'5). The only drawback is the cord, it's quite big and bulky but the good still far outweighs this one small bad thing.Pros-WarmFull coverageLightweightPoncho style allows for full use of arms and hands without it interfering.Great for cold officeCons-Plug is big, bulky

I received this on time. It feels warm and cozy. The heater parts warm up well. This is the second Beautyrest throw that I have used. I bought one aprx. 1 1/2 years ago. It was very similar and also had a five year warranty. However, the controls stopped working. All they do is blink thus I had to buy another. I'm very disappointed because I certainly didn't get five years from it. Posting a 5yr warranty is very dishonest. On the positive side, it did last longer then my first throw which was not a Beautyrest. I will update as needed.

Very Nice
Gets super cozy. Even the pets try to curl up in there as well. My mom liked it so much she went and bought the same one .. it never arrived and then price jumped up to a $140 which sucks. It was like $87 when I purchased. But it is a lot easier to use on your back than a heating pad and gets just as warm

Worked…for one year. Worthless “warrenty”
Died after one year. Contacted Beautyrest regarding the supposed 5-year warranty. They referred me to their manufacturer, who sent a list of hoops I could try to jump through.Garbage product? Landfill? YMMV

Very disappointing
I bought this poncho as a gift of comfort for my sister when she started treatment for stage four cancer. It brought her great comfort~ she adored her electric poncho. However, after exactly 12 months of use, the poncho stopped working. I think a $96 poncho clearly should have lasted longer than a year! Very disappointed ~ my sister misses the comfort that the electric poncho brought her, as she continues her cancer journey. Very disappointed indeed.
