A lot of the other reviews sound bad but this is working great for us. We only fill it up 75%. It cannot fit our whole fryer into one of these. But if we fill this up 75% then our fryer is low enough that we can drive and not wait for it to cool. So if you need to drive with a hot fryer, this should work. Just dont fill it up all the way or it may over fill and splash. Also if it's full then it will be heavy and hard to handle. So just fill it up enough to get your fryer lower enough. Then it's perfect. Also, the handles work great for bungee cording it down. We havent had any problems yet.

We have purchased several of these over the last 2 years, mostly due to the fact that they are "American Made" The cost was basically double for that reason. Twice now within a couple of months on two of the 7 gal containers the rubber "tube" gasket that fits inside the lid has failed and fallen out. I have tried everything to get it back in but am severely limited due to food safety requirements. I spoke directly with MirOil and was told that they had changed manufacturers during the pandemic. Neither Amazon nor MirOil would honor any warranty since it was past the magic 30 day mark and at over $200 each it is not a great value. I am now seeking a better option for our food truck oil removal and storage needs. We will not be purchasing another one from MirOil.UPDATE:After getting a response from Miroil, they are refunding the full amount of both items. Hopefully in the future they will be able to get a resolution on the gasket falling out and I would be willing to purchase again. Thanks for your attention in this matter.Additional Update:We have received additional lids, at no cost from the company. It is greatly appreciated and we hope that they continue to look into fixing this issue.

UPDATE: Changing the review to a 5 star as the seller went above and beyond to make it right. Great customer service to assure that the customer is satisfied with their product. Received a new lid and seal to replace the leaking one.I need to be able to dump my hot oil before moving my food trailer. It does it’s job but leaks around the lid. Also the seal around the lid is no longer seal tight. Now I place the bucket in a 39 gallon bag before transporting so oil does not go all over the floor.

This is a great pot for my Belshaw Donut Robot. I use it in my food truck. The seal is perfect. No leaks.

The lid was slightly dented on the side when I took it out of the box. I managed to straighten it with plyers and a plastic hammer. Perhaps a little packing around the pot would help when shipped. Also, I have the same model pot that is 7 years old and in comparing the two, I can see the manufacturer cheapened up the lid. The new lid is not as heavy and looks like thinner metal. I give the product 3-1/2 stars account of the cheaper looking lid. I travel with these pots and a good lid is very important to me. I have no complaints with the old pot and still use it.

This is not cheap when it comes to price butthey gave a new meaning to garbage quality.It is disposable quality unfortunately!In my opinion it is even bad for despicable!Please stop ripping people off and make a better quality and send me one!

This container works great...we no longer have to wait for our oil to cook down completely before draining it...after turning off the fryer we drain the fryer 30-45mins later (still at a high temperature)There is a small air hole on lid which oil can leak out of but it’s a very small amount...we are very happy with this product

Ordered 2 back I have 2 fryers on my foodtruck and didnt feel like waiting 4hrs to have oil cool down. First off for the price you pay, totally not worth it! It's a shitty steel bucket, with crappylids and even worst latches. The latches are super flimsy and one I'm not even sure ed locks down. The bucket it self looks like crap! You think for 140$ youd almost get a nice, well made, stainless steel bucket. It's not! It doesnt even look welded well. Do I need a fancy bucket to dump oil in, absolutely not. But I should get one for that price. I'd say go find a plain steel bucket any where and itll work just as good. Id pay maybe 50$ for this, tops! Oh the lids leak, not a lot but they do leak. So be ready to clean up some oil.
