Love these things!!
I never new such things existed until I found them. This made for a very clean install of wires behind the drywall. They made well and made my install look great! Highly recommend!

Works great
Does exactly what you want it to, make a cable penetration look a little more presentable. I bought this to use with a ceiling penetration for CAT6 cable I ran to various places in my house. My only feedback (I can't really say it's a complaint because its not advertised for this purpose.) Is that it's designed for a drywall thickness penetration. My house is old and the walls and ceiling are made of plaster and lathing which is a fair bit thicker than drywall and this won't really work properly for my application. The nice thing is the springs and grommet come off the plastic body pretty easily and I was able to 3D print a new, slightly deeper body, and transfer the springs and grommet to my deeper version and it works great. I would give 5 stars if they offered a plaster version of this product.

Nice look, unique solution, but for the price, I'd expect more
I had a spot where I was fishing ethernet cable through a finished ceiling, not a highly visible location but I wanted to seal things off and get a cleaner look. A lot of the grommets I was seeing locked in with plastic wings like an "old work" electrical box, but my hole was through a few funky layers - thin wood paneling over an old plaster and lath ceiling - and the spring clips seemed like a great fit. I've used LED ceiling lights with a similar installation approach and liked them a lot so this seemed like the way to go.Install was easy - I'd recommend a 2.25" hole saw over the 2.5" they recommend - and if this was a $5 product I'd be fairly happy, but for the $14 I paid, I was surprised at how flimsy it feels. Compared to the LED ceiling lights I've installled, these springs were made with much thinner wire, and the plastic itself is light and feels like it could break easily. The rubber grommet part comes loose when the wires are tugged, and feels thin enough that it could be prone to tearing. With the grommet installed, it's not likely to move much, and I can always add some glue or fix it up in other ways, but I'd have much preferred to get something that felt more robust out of the gate. Given that there are similar products (though with smaller openings, and without the spring clip approach to installation) where you can get two grommets and a hole saw bit for less than the price I paid for this, I'm not sure reccomend ordering this, but now that I've got it installed, I'm happy enough with it that I'm not inclined to return it.It does the job it's supposed to do, but I think it should either be a sturdier product or cost less.

Used for network cables
I installed a 42u network server rack in my basement with a drop down ceiling. I used this to drop all the cables through a panel to my server rack. It keeps them nice and tidy, without looking like somebody just punched a hole in the tile. This product exceeded my expectations.

CHEAP SPRING! BROKE DURING INSTALL!
Im not that darn strong! All I did was pull the springs back to install the item into the hole and the spring snapped! Now I have to put my project on hold to wait for a new one! CHEAP SPRINGS!!!! Also, I would say 2.5" hole is a bit too big. I would suggest you cut it at no more than 2.25" for a more snug and sturdy fit.
