Great product for attaching a fishfinder in a kayak
My husband loves this product. It was easy to install, and he has mounted his fishfinder to it. It functions like it’s supposed to in a great value for the money. He has not had to remove it from his kayak so I can’t comment on that, but it was easy to put on, so I assume it would be easy to take off. Highly recommend.

A great mount, but may take doctoring for some applications
Garmin striker 4 vivd screen mounts perfectly, the transducer take 2 minutes of McGyver-ing. I cut a notch in the transom mount just big enough to hold the end of the mount arm. It'll lock the arm in place, no movement in the transducer at all. I wish it came with adapters for easier universal applications, but this was an easy coperation", just looks clunky.

Works well with Garmin Striker 4
I used this mount for a Garmin Striker 4. The display part of the Garmin attached easily to the plate using the pre-drilled holes in the mount. The locknuts are in a tight spot so you may need needlenose pliers or similar to hold the nuts in place while you tighten the screws. The track also mounts easily to the kayak. Note that the mount only comes with four screws for the track, so you may want to buy four more to make sure all eight of the holes in the track are used. I added a dab of marine sealant before driving in each of the screws. Mounting the transducer to the arm ended up being easy once I figured out how to make it work. You'll see in the photos that I included the hull mount with the transducer because it keeps the transducer locked in position, rather than flopping around. This configuration required me to buy a slightly longer #10 machine bolt (I also bought a #10 locknut just to be safe). I think the bolt I bought ended up being 2.5 inches long. Once everything was tightened up, the transducer was locked into position. Hopefully the photos help those of you with the Garmin Striker 4 units!

Horrible junk that will destroy your day
Well the item broke off on the trak mount part. Literally tightend and then nothing screw somehow cross threaded inside the know and wouldnt release ended up having to beat it off with the anchor to get the attachment off. This thing is absolute junk do not buy under any circumstances.

I would research something else
Not the perfect fit for striker 4. You will need to pre drill the holes since the bolts provided a bit larger in diameter. Also it is very hard to secure the swivel part in t-track, you will have to rotate the whole thing to make it tight.

Sturdy and versatile
This is a very sturdy and versatile mount. Made using my Garmin Striker 4 much more convenient on a canoe, and it was easy to install it temporarily on the gunwale using clamps.

Professional Look
Fit right into the track on my Sundolpin Boss 12ss, and looks great. Had to custom fit the heliux 7 to the mount but otherwise fits amazing. The mount is well built and very secure. Highly recommend.
