PERFECT PHOTO ROLLING CARRY-ON!
As I age I find it harder to lug even 20 lbs of gear when rushing through airport and train terminals. I check-in the clothes but like most photographers I'm not letting my gear out of my sight. I have a number of Think Tank bags (Speed Series and Retrospectve 7) and accessories. They're all great products but my upcoming trip calls for 8 tranfers between planes, boats, and trains so I wanted something with wheels. This little gem arrived today and I couldn't be happier. It looks smaller than reported (but isn't). The quality is Think Tank Tough. The custom handle does not take up space in the bottom half of the case but cleverly folds into itself. The wheels are robust and quiet.! Padding is high tech. There's a diagram demonstrating how to properly use the included rain cover. Two things that would make it even better woulds be a zippered pouch on the inside of the lap top cover for passports, tickets, etc, and a sleeve on the back to allow this bag to slip over the handle of a larger bag. If it zipped on the bottom like an REI roller I own, it could also be used for maps, etc. I haven't used it yet but I'm confident it will be as good as all my other Think Tank products. I packed it today and It easily holds my Fuji X-T2, 35mm, 16-55, 50-140, power grip and charger, and the usual misc extras with room left over. Based on other reviews and my own flight experiences I'm pretty sure this will tuck in beneath the airplane seat. Worst case, it will easily fit up above. Just returned fron the trip I mentioned above. The roller performed flawlessly. Fit under the seat of both large and regional planes, as well as under the seat of Via Canada train (business class). Definitely a keeper!

Fits in planes with small overhead compartment
A lot of cameramen are ok with checking their camera gear. I'm not, but I fly out of a smaller airport with regional size planes with the smallest overheads. This fits, so I now no longer get in arguments with gate agents and flight attendants who want me to put my expensive camera and lenses in the belly of the plane. That happened a lot with my former bag that technically fit if I packed it just right and removed the wheel carriage which I still had to gate check and wait for. I can pack all my lenses and a large DSLR. A little tight in small overhead with laptop but I can easily pull that out if needed. I've had it more than a year and its well made. No tears or anything. Strong zippers and material. Extra deep section for camera body. Well designed. Packs a lot gear for its small size. Pricey yes for what looks like a basic roll on but its worth it. Has made traveling by air less stressful.

Worse case ever owned
This is the worse case I have ever bought. The wheels do not spin, they only roll straight no spinner wheels. Very awkward to roll with other suit cases at airport. I do not recommend this product. For as much money as I paid., they could put better wheels on this bag.

Great bag!
just traveled with this bag- bought it for a birding trip that required regional jets (well, I live in Boise, so most every trip includes at least one regional jet). it fit in the overhead, no problem. Packed 2 DSLRs with lenses attached (one with grip), a 200-500 and miscellaneous other items. I know that I can refine my packing and fit more accessories as needed. rolls nicely. it was tippy with my laptop backpack perched on top, but that can be worked around. Also great for packing gear in & out of hotel rooms. It's sturdy and well made and I anticipate a long happy relationship.

Good bag, but can tip with laptop in front pocket
Overall, solid bag like other Think Tank products. As others have mentioned, it does tend to tip a little forward (or over completely) when there was a 15" macbook pro in a sleeve in the front pocket. Also, when you have a laptop in the pocket, it takes the dimensions up a couple inches (as do the handles, adding about an inch or so). If you're needing to use this on a specific plane, keep that in mind. Wheel wells also take a little bit of space on the interior of the bag, but nothing too bad. For me, the only thing missing is more organization in the front pocket. Unlike their other bags or backpacks, there's no additional organization (pen holders, pockets, etc) so it's strictly for a laptop (and you'll definitely want your laptop in a padded sleeve). As is the front pocket feels kind of like a last minute addition instead of a true feature.

Best roller bag for airport travel
Fantastic camera bag! I was worried it might be too small but it holds a lot of gear. The roller bag is very well made with excellent wheels, retractable handle, carry handles and large rugged zipper. The bag is light weight compared to the pelican roller case I had been using. The Pelican case weighed 13 pounds and this bag is less than 6 pounds. With a camera body and two lenses it stilled weighed less than the empty pelican case. It fits in small regional type planes overhead as well. No worries that I will be separated from my gear. This is the first item I have purchased from Think Tank and it has made me a fan!

I received this bag today and a NikonZ9 with 100-400mm lens plus a Z7ii with 24-70 fit snugly in this bag. Also, a Nikon Monarch 7x40 binocs and a 14in laptop make up my other equipments for travel. The total weight is around 8.5 kg and I am extrmely happy. I find that whatever be the bag, the zipper should be of good quality and in this instance, Think Tank has provided YKK zippers like my ealrier bulky Think Tank airport security stroller bag (5.5kg). After I gave up using a 600mm f4 lens the heavy bag became redundant! I am sure this purchase will be of great use during my travels!
