Nice quality for the price
These were a gift for my wife he used to work in the catering for industry. She was very pleased with the quality of the knifes and the self sharpening block

Nice set
Very nice knife set from sabatier, and yes it does sharpen the knives but I have found it's better if you hold the block while you do it otherwise I would recommend this ,thank you amazon

Stunning
These look beautiful on my counter top. I’ve not used the knives yet but I’ve had this brand before and the lives were great

Sharp and stylish.
I'm impressed with these knives overall, however I have to say I am somewhat surprised by the quality control as the box came sealed, yet two of the knives had sticky marks/residue on the handles, and those and another knife were slightly scuffed, again on the handles. The knife block itself also seems to be slightly worn on one of the edges, but I have no reason to believe these have been returned at any point, as all the packaging was intact.Otherwise, they're good. The self-sharpening is a great feature for the block to have, and it is very satisfying to remove and replace the knives when using. The only thing other than that that bothers me is that the knives don't all sit in the same position in the block. It's not a particularly snug fit, and some handles sit higher/lower than the others.30 year guarantee is excellent, although I would hope it's not necessary.
