I really don't know the answer to your question on this being a vegan soap. However, it has a clean and pleasant fragrance. I gave it as a gift to my mom, whose been using this brand soap since the late 1950's.

Elegant perfumed soap ….

This fragrant soap is fabulous! I have over a dozen bars of this soap and keep one in every shower and one in each of my dresser drawers. Myrurgia Maja is a Spanish fragrance created by Esteve Monegal in 1918 and translates to "beautiful woman" or "fascinating woman" and it just can’t be beat!
