They are very good for shorter lenses, they bend into the petal shape lens hoods of short to mid zooms The light is fine for macro and doesnt give too much reflection, they can be bent and contoured, it would have been nice to have a little more length to the arms but sufficient for primes and macro lenses up to 105mm comfortably.

Great versatile , powerful light

Quite bright and very versatile. Some people have said that the lights are too short if using a longer lens but the key issue is that these are attached the camera via a COLD shoe attachment. As such, there is no electronic connection from camera to lights and these can be mounted elsewhere, say on a gorilla pod nearer the subject to be lit. With such adaptation these represent an extremely economical purchase

Excellent piece of kit, easy to handle excellent manoeuvrability, great lights

Terrible light output, they are insanely dim for led lights. If you are planning to use this for macro photography, then more than likely, the lights will not extend beyond the lens. Not only that, but the flexible cord will not stay in position and you will be wrestling with them. For £15 I don't expect much, but for a simple spotlight, they are useless.
