These little items are great to have on hand for winter and outdoor events. They will last a long time and when you need then, just pull open and rub together to activate. They are good to keep in your car, truck, purse, or sporting/hunting gear for when it gets unexpectedly cold. Perfect for those who love outdoor events in the winter including ballgames, hunting, and sporting events. They are easy to use, works very well, and deliver the right amount of warmth so that they are not too hot to the hands. Lasts a couple of hours. We buy these often at other schools, but Amazon has a great price for the multi-pack.

These HOT HANDS are absolutely wonderful for anyone who lives or travels to wet-cold or dry-cold regions of the world. These have become part of my dress code to live in the northeast or northwest US. Each pouch is vacuum-sealed and air activated within 5 minutes after shaking the pouch. Each pouch does last about 10 hrs with a little less heat towards the end of the time limit. The package is well marked with warnings to avoid use around babies/kids, anyone with health issues or at risk for skin burns = READ THE WARNING! Easy to activate; no smell/no fumes; travel ready; heats for 10 hrs; use anywhere heat is needed; and affordable! Best on the market! I have them in my home, car and work desk. When warm clothes, jacket, hat, mittens, boots need that little extra -> Hot Hands!

Good idea. One pair last for eight hours. Sometimes they get too hot and must be removed. Then I put them in my pockets which is also warming.

They are great for chicks when there is a power outage

I had a bunch of these in my junk drawer that went bad by the time I went to use them, so I had to pick up more. The ones I got were fresh and had a manufacturer expiration more than 1 year out so they look pretty fresh. The hand warmer took about 30 minute to get to full operating temp, which was about 130*, and held that temp for a full 6 hours. Even at about 8 hours I noticed some heat but it started to die down around 120* and that was when I stopped testing and recording the time and temp logs. While I still prefer my zippo refillable hand warmer (which I just fill with VM&P Naptha from the hardware store since it’s the same as zippo fluid at a fraction of the cost) for day to day use in the winter since it saves if landfill trash - these still have their place. Since I have a dozen extra after my intended usage, I made sure to load up the cars and emergency kits!

these are larger than the usual handwarmers and when I'm out in the cold, thoroughly warms my whole hands for a lot longer
