While the initial alignment is impressive, using a laser bore sighter is a great way to perfectly dial the dot to the specific ballistics of a firearm for absolute precision. Advanced Motion-Sensing Technology The motion-sensing technology is highly effective. The "Shake Awake" feature ensures that the moment the gear is handled, the Optic instantly activates the last used brightness setting. To conserve power, it is programmed to shut off automatically after periods of inactivity, extending the battery life. Installation and Fit Depending on the specific slide cut, a separate mounting plate may be necessary. While these typically cost upwards of $50, the investment ensures a solid, secure, and precise fit that remains stable under recoil. Once properly mounted, the housing sits low enough to provide an excellent lower 1/3 co-witness with standard iron sights. But better if the firearm has optic iron sights. Side-Loading Battery Compartment This design is a significant advantage. Unlike optics that require removal from the slide to swap batteries, this side-loading feature allows for battery changes without losing the zero or needing re-adjustment. Reticle Clarity The green dot is incredibly crisp and bright, making it very easy for the eye to acquire quickly in various lighting conditions. This is my 3rd Holosun purchase and I couldn’t be happier. This one I got specifically for my EDC. It’s a reflex which means it is not enclosed and sealed off to dust, rain and debris, but it’s still super reliable. The battery life is insane, boasting around 50,000 hours - that’s like 4-5 years. So if you have the dot at a moderate brightness, and the “shake awake” setting on, which puts the dot to sleep after 10 minutes and instantly turns on at the sign of any movement whatsoever, you can change the battery once per year or once every two years and still be confident it’ll be at the ready when you need it. This was essentially zeroed out the box for my p365 but it does come with a tool to adjust windage etc if need be, simple clicks. I recommend a laser bore sighter in red to properly align the dot if you need one. Other than that it should hold zero easily because of the side panel battery compartment, which means you can change the battery without having to remove the Holosun. This thing is durable, has a great bright and accurate laser with a low co-witness depending on your irons, it’s easy to use with simple controls, and it’s durable as heck! The only small caveats that would make me want another model would be: 1. If I wanted enclosed 2. A different Holosun with the solar backup panel (this does not have it but it’s a VERY slim and small reflex) 3. Variation of the dot (this is 6moa green dot only, no crosshairs or circles) Well built, affordable and high quality. You can’t go wrong.

The red dot arrived on time and in great condition. It mounted on to my pistol with no issues and was zeroed in out of the box. Update after 209 rounds.

Holosun continues to be one of the best values in optics, and this site is no exception. Dual reticle is nice and clean in both modes. Battery life is excellent. This has been installed on my EDC for 6+ months with zero issues.

The green 6MOA dot is incredibly crisp, easy to pick up under stress, and ideal for rapid target acquisition. Pros: Shake Awake is a Game Changer: The motion-activated feature works perfectly—wake it up instantly just by drawing, with no need to fumble for buttons. Saves battery and adds a level of readiness that’s hard to beat. Super Clear Glass: The lens clarity is excellent. No glare, distortion, or tint issues. It provides a sharp sight picture both in daylight and low-light environments. Green Dot Visibility: The green dot really stands out, especially in bright conditions. It’s easier on my eyes compared to red dots and tracks quickly during follow-ups. Compact & Lightweight: Fits perfectly on the Hellcat Pro without feeling bulky or disrupting concealment. The profile is sleek and low enough to co-witness with iron sights. Durable Build: Feels rugged and reliable. The construction is solid and gives confidence that it will hold zero through rough use. Cons: Button Placement Takes Getting Used To: Adjusting brightness can be slightly awkward at first until muscle memory kicks in. Not a dealbreaker at all, but something to be aware of. Final Verdict: If you’re looking to upgrade your EDC setup, this optic is worth every penny. Between the green dot clarity, Shake Awake feature, and perfect fit for compact pistols like the Hellcat Pro, the HE407K-GR-X2 delivers pro-level performance in a small package. Fits flush and nice on my CZ Shadow 2 carry. Optic looks nice and the green dot is very crisp.

The optic itself 10/10. I fw the fact that the dot can only be seen by you. They will never see it coming. It was a quick install. The only thing is the screws, The screws that fit were too long . I had to use some other ones. If u buy this product you'll need shorter screws. They sent me like 3 sizes 2 were too fat and the other was too long. This is something they should fix especially with it being almost $300.

After installing this on my P365x carry pistol, target acquisition is noticeably faster and more consistent. The optic is rugged, the dot is bright even in daylight, and the Shake Awake feature is extremely convenient. For the price point, i don’t know if it can be beat.
